This dude couldn't speak a word of English a couple years ago & now he speaks pretty comfortably. Hats off to him. Also don't be fooled by the haters/casuals that make it seem like Islam coasts to decisions while Hooker is some sort of entertaining finisher. Islam has 4 finishes in his last 6 fights. Hooker has 1. Islam also has the best striking defense in UFC history. Cool fact.

At this point everyone still looks down and talking smack to Yan, Oliveira, and Jan. Because timing works for them, they didnt beat the champ before them, and lastly they look on the opponents that they beat, theyre saying they just beat up some non prime and washed up fighters. Title fight for Islam after building a 9 fight winstreak off Hooker would honestly be the best thing for 155, specially if Olives retains the title and Chandler beats Gaethje. 155 is stacked, all the top5 could be champs if things go their way on fight night. It would be best if someone could come and expose weaknesses in everyone, steal the title and build a streak of title defences as everyone scrambles to find a way to deal - Islam could be the person to do that. Khabib was that man before - no one had an answer for him. Islam sitting on that throne now with a similar grappling style in his arsenal would be fitting

The only reason why Tony didn't got the undisputed title shot was because of McGregor, he was out there doing 'money fights' in the boxing world and even the UFC didn't strip him because of inactivity and promoted the IC champ Tony to the undisputed champ. And don't forget that UFC later stripped Tony of the IC because he was injured. The UFC did bad to Tony.
