I think you should be able to put items in storage without losing flowers. That way you wouldn't have a jumbled mess and can change your island decor with the seasons.

I’m voting for this too! My favorite thing is redesigning my space but first, it’s already SO SMALL, secondly, what about the needed zen of minimalism sometimes? Also, when you keep winning the SAME GIFT REPEATEDLY? Can afford to lose the flowers, don’t like this wedding theme in the first place, so i have to keep item. They could make this game so much better if they looked at HAY DAY as an example. They’ve got the perfect system for this!

I have 4 islands now, all crammed full. I’d love to be able to put everything in storage and redecorate. Also, I’d love to be able to select for storage items of a particular value as finding them on a cramped island is challenging. Keep up the good work. Love the game, the challenges.

I agree - I would love to have a storage place to put things so as to rearrange the island into shopping/ entertainment areas, neighborhoods w/ houses and accessories, schools w/ things for the students, a maintenance area for cars, repair shops, etc. When one starts playing you're not aware that it's going to get out of hand as to placement so quickly.

I wish I could put landmarks in my storage. Sometimes when I'm redecorating I'll have to clear a whole bunch of stuff just to move one of my landmarks. That's just too much. And..... I wish I could move certain landmarks to Sunflower Island.

I never wanted to have a crowded island, saw them when I began, + said not me. Well I now have a rather crowded one, but I have gardens, meditation area, pool + beach areas, not to mention a farm + town. My Indian complex + Bollywood are on another island If I ❤️ it, I buy it. If I need flowers I buy it. If I had more free space I'd open it up more. I'm on my third island, enchanted w/2022's Oct. set. Lot's of purchases there. Level is early 700's. Everything is about the flowers. Do I have enough? What do I like + buy to collect more. Some places are crowded, some not so much. Orchid Island has been redone to be more spacious by many of my team members further along than I. I put stuff on the boat whenever I can afford to. I like multiples of items, always thinking ahead to the next island. Flowers ,flowers, flowers, + compasses are what I am always looking for. Ur strategy needs to suit Ur level, mine was different in the 200's compared to 700's. I'm working w/it + enjoying the journey. I wish I could see my teammates other islands tho.

Just hoping Wooga will create a game for people who love nature. This game rewards high population density, like most games.. Instead of destroying the environment with buildings and clutter, can you make a game for us to create our fantasy natural space? Maybe even start with an environment like an abandoned industrial site and clean it up, restoring the water, air and land, and reintroducing native species of plants and animals. The artist is so good at these elements!

I replace expensive decorations from storage when I want to increase my flower value to progress making my island look hideous forgetting then how amazing I made it look in the first place .. Thing to do I guess is wait it out meanwhile help Mr Talbot build and restore .Karen.

I wish we could rotate our items to fit our designs. I do my best to create a unique island, to suit me, but I am restricted in placement. Besides that, I LOVE this game.

@@ciudadanamts so, I think I misinterpreted the "rotate" Laura Hodge was referring to. There is: 1. rotate around an axis which will change the orientation let's say from south to north in JJ'S case; or, 2. Rotate, as in switch out items, putting them into the storage bank when not wanted on the island. I was referring to the second one. Because I've seen the video you're talking about as well.

I enjoy playing this game, however, I think the area removed by obtaining compasses should be larger. It takes too many compasses to uncover such a small space. Please make these spaces larger. Thank you.

I have been playing for a bit less than a year. I am just finishing the wedding chapel and am looking forward to the boat restoration. Like most, I want more space. However, I think it is good to keep the spaces small to keep the game moving slowly enough to give time for gifting and rearranging/decorating.

I like to make my decorations "logical" with roads or railways connecting them, rather than just cramming everything in. One thing that could be improved is the irregular edges where you cant fit anything in.

Bob I SO agree😄👏🏽I’m also someone that likes to make my decorations very logical so it looks like a real island town. The irregular edges & gaps has also long been a pet peeve. I also wish there was a search option for players. I work with people that play JJ and I lead a team but there isn’t a way to “find” players you know. Only the players the game feeds you. But I still love the game!

At least you should be able to place items at the edges of things and have the edges blur or conform to the shape so that they don’t look like perfect squares.

@@maureen669 I can totally respect this way of decorating your island but will you please explain how you have/get enough flowers to move on if you don't have all these items on your island? I saw one of their RU-vid videos (maybe this one, I didn't check before replying to you and I watched/commented a little while back) saying you could place unwanted items in your ship when you start a new chapter... this makes me so confused because if I place something in the ship I lose those flowers and need more to continue on. So, how do you progress with very little actually on your island? I hope you understand what I'm asking. I had commented this exact question in these comments but nobody replied to my question. Thank you in advance for helping me understand!

bayshoregirl210 ; definitely in agreement. I send my ideas thru the “help” section in the game under “contact us”. I even let them know they should consider bringing back the daily mailman so we could earn a few coins, flowed, gems, anything ... it would give us more incentive to at least log into the game daily! Especially at times when we get stuck due to things like not enough coins to buy the correct flower amount so we can get to the next level, etc. Maybe if enough of us contact them they’ll bring the mailman back!

In order to advance or to put stored items on the island, I need space, space I get by playing scenes and collecting compasses, in order to play scenes I need to put items on the island, in order to put items on the island I need .............................. Compasses don't come frequently enough, would be great if this would be changed. Beside this, it is a great game and I think it is very skillful to keep people interested into the store by only putting two little scenes per level, well made.

I wish there was some way open spaces (flowers, water, trees) could be worth as much as the buildings. I would love a huge vineyard, nice grass park areas, but I keep putting more “worthy” (in flower power) buildings there.

So true, how sad we are unable to decorate our island in a normal, natural way. Please, give us an empty island for gardening lovers where we can decorate with plants, trees and flowers with some animals. It is not enjoyable to cram my island with a lot of unwanted buildings and features because I need to keep items with high-score flowers.

@@kemekoist Decorating the island is what I like about these games. Wouldn't play without that. If I ever get to the point where I have to cram it with stuff I don't like I will quit. Actually I did have to do that for my last level but since I'm in the middle of re-doing everything I figured I wouldn't have to next level... hope not

I agree...and I wish we would get a dirt path road. I wouldn't mind paying more in diamonds or coins if they had more flower power. They kind of force us to just jumble everything up! Also, I wish they'd let us store the major buildings. I hate the stadium and bath house-they don't go with my theme-, but I am forced to have them out there.

I'd LOVE to be able to move my gift flowers/trees/bushes. Sometimes you have a designated area for a themed set and someone has given you the diamond purchased flowers and later on down the road when more land clears you move that themed area but you can't take your lovely gift bushes/trees with you. Otherwise I LOVE,LOVE,LOVE the game! 🤗

You need to click on the gifted trees and plants. Then hit the center icon that comes up. It looks like a pick ax. They go away but you get diamonds for them. Diamonds are so much better. I’m always gifting the bushes to people but I noticed some folks just leave them there. They obviously don’t know what you do with them. I didn’t know you could get diamonds for them until my sister told me!! What a difference it makes. Good luck. I also didn’t know you can remove all the rocks and dead trees in new lands with coins and open up your spaces.

@@pamelaamland6042 We leave them there because we like how they look. I keep the temporary ones since they change them every week or two. And they're unique and won't be repeated. I suppose a new player might not know what to do with them though...

Hello, I've been playing this way, it works to move up with flowers and I get that you are trying to get people into this strategic placement and all, but I think it would be nice to give just a little bit more room on the island. Your decorations are beautiful and I want to keep most of them on the island, not on my ship. There are still some that can be stored, but if someone like me wants to have most of the main decorations as well as seasonal ones placed, there simply isn't enough space to build in a nice way. Everything just looks clattered (even with items on the ship) and it defeats the purpose of building an Island with your beautiful decorations that your team worked so hard at creating. It's just a shame to have so much of it stored and enjoyed, instead of a cohesive layout that makes sense, with occasional moving around and storage to get the flowers. I know some players don't care about it and just place decorations haphazardly just to move up levels, but I'm not one of them. After all, I know your game was meant to be played in chapter AND on the island and I'm not the only one who thinks so 😉

I would be great if it were possible to exchange high quantity materials for the low quantity ones. For example, paint and wood. These materials are awarded MUCH more frequently than others. It can take up 2 weeks to earn enough hammers and marble tile to make a delivery. It is frustrating to have 900 cans of paint that nobody wants, when all one needs is 2 marble tiles for a delivery to get an award. I would GLADLY exchange 50-100 cans of paint for those 2 marble tiles.

I love JJ! Its a lovely distraction from my cancer treatments in the past few months and especially now with covid lockdown. A healthy obsession that has helped me through some tough challenging times and never fails to make me smile. I especially love the story progression and am a huge sucker for island decorations and seasonal sets 😍

I’m also very competitive in the scenes and always aim to be the highest score for finding objects in each scene. I even take a screenshot when I’m top of the leaderboard! 😃

I decorate my island to include quite a bit of green space to make it look more open. When I'm ready to progress in the game, I take all my stored items off the ship until I've achieved the number of flowers I need to move up, then I immediately put the extra items back on the ship, so my island is only "cluttered" for a few minutes, or the time it takes me to progress to the next star level. This works well in conjunction with earning flowers by adding new decorations and, later, completing Jack's deliveries.

@jeanmm2996 Generally, I wait until I have enough flowers to move up about 10 levels at a time. When I need to move up again, I take all my items off the ship, as I said, and those flowers are supplemented by flowers I've also been earning by "buying" new items with in-game coins or winning new items through the Detectives Needed challenges, or Jack's Deliveries, and daily repairs to Mr. Talbot's project -i.e the chapel, pirate ship, etc. I've been playing this way for years and it works for me.

@@smasome I also have Fibromyalgia, since 2009.. I'm so sorry to hear this, but I can relate and understand💜.. I just started this game JJ a few days ago and I Love It! I also like to play WordScapes. I find games like these are good for memory and help through the "Fibro Fog". PLUS I can play during my small breaks, in between cleaning and other stuff. (I have Full Spine issues and my lower back disc tore open 2times & makes it hard to stand to do things.)😥 I have High Anxiety and depression. I'm sorry to hear about your nervous breakdown @Gimmeachance ,but I'm glad you got professional help and relief from this game, June's Journey🧐💜. I'm having a great time playing and the graphics are beautiful... I like hearing the sound of the waves 🌊too, so calming 🤗...

Love the game, but every time I put something in the ship it takes back flowers, making the counter bigger to be able to open new scenes and I need that space for new items, and I'd love to see my island at night too.

But we never win because we have a samller number of members compared with the rest. Open your group. Don't keep it private. You will get enough members like the other groups. I joined a group that I did not know. However, it is always the same players who play the club challenges and that is unfortunate. Too bad !

After reading through the comments that think mirror images would be very helpful. Being to at least have the option of having the cars, engines be turned the opposite direction. Same with any decoration that is supposed to represent movement. A would also love if we wanted to rotate the houses and other buildings. It would make it easier to design a more sensible island and not just a clutter. I've played other games that involve designing city or town and they have had that option making it more enjoyable and personal. No worries, I love the game and I ain't going anywhere. But I believe there's enough talent among you to put it together fairly simply. I have faith. Keep up the good work

You suggest swapping lower value items for higher value items. But if I sell an item, I only get half of what I paid for it. To put it another way, when buying items, 1 flower costs 30 coins. If I sell back an item, I only get 15 coins per flower, ie, I’m taking a 50% loss. Is there some other way to swap items? And I’ll add my voice to the chorus of people who wish objects could be rotated.

They pop back up in different themes. I already had several of the rodeo items because they were from last summer's Camp Fun. Same with most themes, especially the smaller plant/accessory items.

Just started playing and I agree with a lot of experienced players that the design of the game forces us to decorate our island a certain way, taking away from the fun of the design element. The easiest solution to this I have seen is to have bigger items be allowed to be storage and still have the flowers # to count while there and have the ability to earn coins and do renovations (like a sitting investment or steady cash flow from property rentals). Otherwise, even starting out I can see it would be wiser from a game advancement standpoint to decorate with a bunch of buildings even if I didn't aesthetically speaking want to. If I can purchase them and store them while still earning the benefit of the purchase, I wouldn't be forced to have my island look a certain way at least. Yes I may still opt to purchase buildings first but at least from a design pov, the ones I don't like won't have to be an eyesore. Just wish there was a way to actually design the way we like and not eventually have it become so crowded and ugly just for strategy... 🤔

I’m a 42-year old mum with a 12-year old kid who keeps laughing at me cos since I discovered June’s Journey 4 months ago, I’ve been hooked! This is the first time I’ve ever played an app game (or any digital game), so it’s my first find and a great one to stay too. I love the beauty and vivid colours of the graphics, the suitable background music, the opportunity to see different scenes from countries and cultures, I’ve learnt names of items that I don’t have in my culture, it keeps my mind alert and trains my memory and reaction time, I get to decorate and strategize on my island, work as a team with my club to win competitions. Though I don’t know other games, I feel that it’s the best game there is on the market, everything is so well thought of. You can tell that I’m a huge fan, so much so that I went online to read more about the game developer and their mind behind this game, the philosophy behind the game creation impressed me so much that for sure I’ll be playing it for years to come, plus I made purchases which is completely not something I would usually do for entertainment. Pls do not tell my kid! 🤣 #ILoveJJ

At first I started creating my island as functional as possible with roads n railroad tracks all connected. It looked good and it made sense. But as I ran out of space, I had to remove roads n railroad tracks and jam everything together just to make space. When I visit other islands, most of them look like a pile of scramble items. It makes no sense to me. I wish there was more space and wish that it wouldn’t take days to earn my flowers. I have to play the same level for 2-4 days waiting to get my flowers. Would love to see seasonal versions of homes and other decorations available so they can be replaced with snowy or spring, etc versions of themselves so you don’t just have a patch of fall here or a little bit of winter there….but maybe that’s just me?

No- I think it would be a GREAT idea, like to have sets of 4 seasons to level up to like the golden facades. You could pay 600 more gold to get the estate set of 4 seasons, for example. I would SOOOO do that!😊

Love this game. The artwork is brilliant and I like the intellectual and aesthetic aspects combined. My island is designed as a large country estate, and I hope to create the local villages as space becomes available.

I love to play this game unfortunately the only way you can pass on next level is if you have a lot of energy sometimes when you are going to play a competition you have to play 22 scenes and order to pass the first prize and if you don't get all the hidden objects you lose all those other 21 scenes that you did I don't think that is fair you lose everything in the stash it is frustrating when you spend the night with her and you lose your gift because of one little item that you couldn't find

Yes by selling items you will also have some space. Note when you start selling make sure you also have enough empty stars to keep playing new scenes so you wont get bored playing on same scene. Enjoy!

Love the game...but I completely agree that the number of compasses required to open such little space is way too much. I thoroughly enjoy decorating the island...it’s one of the reasons why I enjoy playing...if the decorations could rotate so that they could face the way you want them to, it would make placing them in your preferred spot so much better. I also agree with the comments about the gifted flowers and bushes...there are some beautiful ones that I have gotten, and it would be nice to be able to move them around as the game progresses, but they either have to stay where they are or not be used at all anymore, which is sad.

I don't understand what they mean by placing items back in the ship once a new chapter starts... I need everything I have on my island currently to not have too many flowers to get. If I put stuff back in my ship, that defeats the purpose bc I need those flowers to keep moving forward! Idk if this makes any sense to someone reading this, but hopefully it does!

Also, when they say they have the game in mule languages and try to make sure everything matches up... I have had SO MANY ITEMS that I've had NO CLUE WHAT THEY ARE bc we don't call whatever it is (in the US) what they're calling it! So, I HAVE TO USE THE TIPS... I guess this is their way of keeping you from doing the best you could if you knew what in the world they were talking about! Lol!

@@rebekah3483 Actually, i believe Wooga is a German company - and they use British terms for a great many items which require some guesswork for Americans as well. And they also like to pun, and take advantage of many items have-ing more than one name, and how many terms can refer to more than one sort of object. I rather enjoy all this, makes it a bit like a good American-style crossword puzzle. I do confess to rolling my eyes at some anachronistic items that show up, however.

@@rebekah3483 Instead of using the tip, zoom in and move the image around. The item you need to find will go "blank" in the list then relight when it is within the screen. That's what I do.

Based off of the challenges I see my higher leveled teammates going through, I only get what I need during seasonal comps and the property that yields coin. I also stack everything next to each other. Literally, don't want to run out of space like some if them unable to receive bushes. I would love to decorate but know that it will hurt me in the long run 😥

I've been playing this for a few months now, and my island started to develop a real clutter to it. I have been filling it with low flower items. So recently I totally cleared house! I sold off many of my low flower items and really cleaned the place up. Now I am concentrating on high flower decorations. As a result, though, I currently have 23k flowers needed before I can play my next star level. I know! Crazy, right? Well, hopefully patience will pay off. I can only hope. And replay a lot of scenes to earn more coins. Hoping it wasn't a mistake.

How do you add water next to a pond? I don’t mean the piece of water with a boat on it but just deep blue water. It’s not the same with the light blue water that you can use to create a pool. I saw this water on other detectives’ islands

Love the game & my teammates! Wish we could move GIFTED FLOWERS to other Islands not just around Orchid Island. I like to keep my “Limited Edition Gifted Flowers” with the seasonal decoration that I’ve done. Can you work on that as well as being able to visit the other 5 Islands of friends, not just Orchid Island. Just a suggestion.😊

The items I am sick of, or I need money for say a new series; First, I get ahead about 2 HOG scenes…Then, I sell..sell sell….I keep track of the flowers in the *new items I’m buying.. For instance, I sell items..All will put me behind 800 flowers. With the money I earned I buy something else..; something that’ll give me 800-900 flowers. By the time the others become available ..( built) I’m back to where I started-ahead 2 HOG scenes…flowers are caught up..

You take the beauty out by not extending the island and by forcing us to clutter instead of decorating. We should be able to store without losing flowers as a consequence everything is in the islands horribly cluttering it. You really need to redesign your game. We stop playing because there is no room and you shouldn’t want that. And the other islands should be visible to all. There is. As great need of real thinking in this game.

I wish they would switch up the decorations. I’m tired of looking at the same stuff. At this point in my game even the special collections are stuff I already have. It’s making me really want to quit the game for good!

You will be deeply disappointed and frustrated when you get to the fifth island. The amount if stars it takes to open a new area goes from 50 to 400, making it impossible to move on. I have no idea how many compasses it requires because you can't tell until you have acquired all the stars. I thought there had to be a mistake, so I inquired via the Help link. It's no mistake. You would think the creators would want to keep their loyal players.

I do love this game but getting enough compasses to open land and later on the decorations cost far too many coins. Having to play "mastered" scenes for days on end is tedious. Having enough saved items to move on with nowhere to put them is annoying. I am both disabled and on a pension so purchasing items is not an option - sorry we need our money to eat and pay bills not for "free" games

I love and really appreciate this game and all the fun it brings, but for a month I am struggling to get compasses. I used to get them in the scenes occasionally and now nothing! I've opened plenty of blue and pink boxes and still nothing. I play every day and I really want to decorate with the new Halloween set, but I have no room at all. Please let us earn the compasses easily or how we are supposed to buy new decoration if we have no room for them? Please help!!!!

@@JunesJourney I will further her comment by saying this: It's extremely tough to play this game when there is no room and you have to wait and wait and wait to earn compasses in order to clear more room. Even after completing a scene, I have played that same scene for days until I am able to move on. I get it, there are some people who don't mind spending money to play, I am not one of them. I want to play and have fun but it gets very frustrating sometimes. Not to mention the fact there are NO instructions or explanations in the game to tell you how to do things. Kinda sucks when you learn something to make the game easier only AFTER you've been playing for months. I could NOT understand how others were scoring 662,xxx on the last scene of a level. I was busting through clicking as fast as I could and only getting 660 or MAYBE a 661 occasionally. THEN, after 4 months of playing and eventually joining a team for leagues, it was explained to me you have to click on the listed items IN ORDER FROM LEFT TO RIGHT. There was NOTHING to explain that when I started playing, would have most certainly been helpful to know that from the beginning. I am now consistently scoring 662s and have several 663s under my belt. I am hoping there is an award at the end of the year for highest avg. score LOL!! It's a fun game and I love it, but being stalled at any given point is NOT fun. OH YEAH!!!!....what the HELL is the deal with items no one has ever heard of? Or calling an item one thing then later calling it something else??? And WHY should we be required to memorize every version of damn zodiac symbols??? I understand you cannot make the game too easy, at least make it consistent.

The big problem with your strategy here is the competitions. In order to play competitively to get maximum ribbons you often have to have new scenes because some of the prizes are new clues, go up a level or go to the next chapter. In order to do that, you have to have more flowers, so I am perpetually in flower jail. It is so frustrating. Please make it possible to be competitive in the competitions by playing old scenes by getting rid of these HW tasks.

I have a question when I master a scene it gets red with a ribbon I notice when you're going to start a new scene you play the first two scenes and you get a whole star if you play it quickly and you know where the itemsare, but as your reaching the third start even though it's a scene clear and you do it in less than 30 seconds it only gives you like 7% of the star that you have done even if you get a perfect score when you're reaching about the third start of the scene why is it take longer for you to clear that third star in the first two stars

I save all the special items that i get from the star boxes. During every new season event you are randomly given these special items that are only available from the star boxes. i just leave them alone and when the seasonal event is over they go right to my ship.
