This is a very descriptive video on our experience of the "Island Hopping Tour" in Langkawi, Malaysia.
This Island Hopping tour is basically a speedboat ride through some of the beautiful islands in a part of Langkawi. The entire ride takes around 3-4 hours. They usually do 2 tours in a day. One at 9am and the other at 2pm. We chose the morning 9am tour.
We booked our tour via the KLOOK app. Just download it and search for Island Hopping Tour. You will get many packages that they offer. Make sure to book it at least 1 day prior because they don't allow you to book for tours on the same day. We payed 9 USD per person.
When you book, you will get a whatsapp message with all the details. They had asked us to be at the Mac Cafe by 8.50am for pickup. When you go to the pickup point, send them a photo of you for proof of your arrival. Then a van will come to pick you up. They also give you a sticker to be attached to your shirt for identification. They will take you to a jetty. If you want to use washrooms before hopping into the boat, you can use the ones here at the jetty for 1 RM. They will also take photos of you, which they use later to make souvenirs of you. At the end of the tour, you can buy them if you are interested.
Then you will be boarded into the boats in groups. Our boat had 14 people. Don't worry. They will do everything smoothly. Just follow their advice.
So, during the speedboat ride, it is stopped at 4 points.
1. Pregnant Lady Island ( They show you this island while you are in the boat )
2. Dayang Bunting Marble Geoforest Park ( You are given 1 hour here )
3. Eagle feeding ( Here also, they feed eagles. You can watch it while being in the boat )
4. Wet Rice Island ( you can do water activities here for 1 hour)
The most significant part of this tour was Kayaking in the freshwater lake at the Dayang Bunting Marble Geoforest Park. This experience is truly magical. You will definitely add unforgettable memories.
