Man, Nico, I'm at a loss for words. As someone who's entire life was AC:NH during those first few months of the pandemic, I can hear every ounce of passion you have for this game in every note. Crazy how nostalgic of a feeling you can evoke from an OST so recent. Phenomenal through and through!

Thanks so much! I love your work too so it means a lot to hear that from you! I actually only record in mono and pan my overdubs (I do 3 to a part, total of 9) like a seating chart. I dip some of the screechy high frequencies and add some compression, lots of reverb. Hope that helps!
I’ve yet to hear the whole thing (sorry, heh 😅), but I have to say that, from 26:45 onwards, it’s a MAGICAL experience. I’ve been kind of in love with _For Auld Lang Syne_ for some time now and I’ve always loved the New Year’s tracks from ACNH, but you managed to weave them together, while also linking the “build-up” tracks seamlessly. Kudos, sir… you got me. (;u;) 👏… 👏…👏 👏👏👏
Do you think you’ll ever release the New Years sequence as a combined single? I live it and want to add it to my playlist but it’s kind of awkward having bits and pieces of it when it’s really best listened to all together.
New Horizons was definitely my Covid game and it’s honestly sad how many hours I’ve racked up in game time haha. Seriously though, you did such an amazing job with each of these gems; I found myself humming along to a lot of the tracks. Nook’s Cranny got me in my feels🥲
