I'm from Comoros, especially Anjouan. I love that island as it's where I was born and raised up till my 19 years old when I left home for studies. I returned back after 12 years away but I found out the country still in under crises caused by our politicians. The Comorian politicians are so greedy in a way that they never think of the country. All what they think of, is their pockets, ile so I wonder how do they want the country to be developped ? The actually president claim to be an Imam while he knows nothing about being an imam. They say that there is a democracy in Comoros but I say that's not true, the president is a dictator. He forgot that he's been voted by the population, but one day Allah will step him down and peace will get back in my lovely island Anjouan InshaAllah :)
Allah loves dictatorships as proven by the Middle East. Also the crisis in Comoros is YOUR FAULT you could have chosen to stay apart of France like Mayotte but instead you voted for a corrupt independent government.
Mayotte as french colony... Arrêtez d'inciter à la haine. Mayotte est partie intégrante de l'archipel des Comores et a fait le choix d'être français. Même si ce choix ne passe pas au niveau de l'état comorien, un peuple a le droit de décider pour eux même, et ce choix de rester français profitent à toute l'archipel. Même si malheureusement beaucoup meurent pendant la traversée, des milliers de citoyens comoriens peuvent se soigner, et être scolarisé à mayotte. Alors arrêtez s'il vous plaît. Nous sommes les Comores oui mais acceptons le choix de chacun.

Unfortunately ignorant people like you push the ideals and morals of today on people in the past, who had different environments, technologies, and ideals. No one had TV, Radio, Internet. Only the very wealthy were educated. Most people did not live past 40 yrs old. All races, tribes, communities and countries were ignorant of other races and tribes, and conquering, wars and taking spoils of war, including slaves, was commonplace and seen as normal in those times, and all races and tribes did it. Eg: The Powerful Ashanti kingdom in Western Africa, conquered and colonised nearly all the different tribes and kingdoms in there part of Western Africa. Ottomans colonised the whole middle east, North Africa and Eastern Europe. Genghis Khan colonised half the world. Europeans were actually late to the party, and only after they became powerful, just like the Ashantis or even groups like the Aztecs and Incas who terrorised and colonised most of central America, and west South America. It was Europeans that started the end of Slavery. What about the Vikings? Don't judge people in the past with the Morals of 2023. People today are not responsible for the actions of people in the past.
Comoroos fight hard for freedom but they can enjoy or eat freedom,but mayote peoples love to remain under french now they enjoy many previllege under the french govt.
