This style is bomb! The black rubber bands work for some people. As long as your hair thick and you keep it in until it pops (which is only a few days if you don't oil it) you should be fine.
I love braids braided straight back about half way and the rest box braids. Keeps them flowing towards the back so they are out of the way but is a great face frame as well
