Iona is located just off the Isle of Mull's south west tip. Most people staying on Mull make the journey over to Iona at some point during their stay and this little video shows you a little of what there is to see.
The Isle of Iona plays an important role in the history of christianity. Iona Abbey can be visited and tickets are bought on the island.
There are some amazing beaches on Iona and we look at a few of these, as well as Dun I the island's highest point.
We hope this video is useful for anyone interested in things to do on Iona.

Iona is a truly inspiring Island to visit. Find the beach with all the colored rocks. I even had two of them spiritual experiences!

Oh my gosh! I really want to visit because I’ve read so much about the history of sisterhood of the Rose and the Druidic spiritual teachings on this island before Christianity took it over.

“Importance in the history of Christianity” Push wayyyyy back before Christianity and talk about the druids and their wise and ancient teachings of human psychology and philosophy. Up until they were pushed off the Island by religion lol. It looks like such a stunning Island though and it’s Druidic history and connection to the sisterhood of the Rose is why I want to visit! 😍🌹

In the game Summoner from 2001 theres an island with a cloister just like the real island Iona, it got a very large crypta beneath in the game :) Is there also an underneath crypta in the real world?

Iona would be nothing more than an insignificant Scottish island if Columba had not been convicted of stealing books from Saint Finnian. Columba fled to Iona after many men died in the "Battle of the Book" (battle of Cúl Dreimhnein) in 560 AD. Iona is a "spiritual" placed that was in fact founded on a crime. History matters.

Ah no, eateries - places where one can eat food. Cafes, restaurants etc.

Isle of Mull Cottages he clearly says iteries, if he were talking about places to eat, why wouldn’t he just say restaurants then? (Especially if he’s not capable of pronouncing eatery) I’ve never even heard of an eatery, and he doesn’t say that anyway, he says itery, if he meant to say eatery but can’t pronounce, why not say cafes and restaurants as to not be confusing?
