We've picked up some corruption so we need to find an entertainer to clean it up. We also visit a couple of ruined Leyshrines looking for Black Night armour. Mixed results, as usual, but a lot of fun. I love these playthroughs. It reminds me of myself playing. Missing items right left and centre, and picking up so much crap!!!! BTW when you killed the sorcerer at 15 mins, you also killed a level 1 sorcerer as well.
Slow down!! I’m still catching up from #4. The southern islands are wild. I got Siptah when it was released and I have saved exploring those regions until now. Good choice!
The message bottles are like the language boxes, they only have a chance of spawning. You'll have to go back repeatedly and hope you get lucky, which is the dumbest thing ever for things you should just be able to go and find. Those Accursed Berserkers are no joke, they deal massive damage, and are probably the best thralls in the game right now after the thrall nerfs. I lost a level 20 alpha Brutus in that camp because he got pinned in and I couldn't get him out. The guys in those camps tend to have heavy Cimmerian armor and Starmetal weapons, so proceed with caution.
As creepy as it may be, the isle of dusk is the home of the temple of the moon. The only place that has guaranteed spawn ins of named thralls from the savage lands. I got two Delincias there. ;) They are ALL accursed! You can't miss the place, a giant black domed structure seen up on high! South east corned of the isle of dusk.
It's funny, I've had The Isle of Siptah installed for as long as I've owned Conan Exiles because I bought the game and all it's expansion packs all at once in a package deal and I haven't set foot on Siptah once. I always told myself I'll give Siptah a try when I get tired of the Exiled Lands but I never got tired of the Exiled Lands. Anyway with this now being 2023 and you just starting a Siptah playthrough seemed like the perfect time to finally give it a try. So I'll be following this series closely for hints and tips. One that that occurred to me is that the usual map room from the Exiled Lands probably wouldn't work here. Is there any other equivalent fast travel system in Siptah?
Hi Matt. Unfortunately there isn't any use for map rooms. That's why I was so pleased to get the Transportery Stones. Otherwise you just have to saddle up. Hope you pick up some useful info.
The bottles with messages don't always popup, sometimes they spawn under the mesh, it happens to me very often. You will need to come back after a server restart.
I do sometimes get thralls from the Khitans, but the first four I bought were all Oyvid Tall-Tree dancers. I'm terrified of getting lumbered with another one.
im just beginning this playthrough so im not sure if you have or not but you should invest into the dismantling bench you can get alot of really good armor and weapon recipes from it including the black knight armor its 50 eldarium per dismantling and to get the black knight recipe you need silent legion or redeemed silent legion which you can get from the pools if you have the silent legion figurine and you only need one piece to get the whole recipe
@Gaudia Certaminis it's the delving bench sorry it's been a while since I been on siptah and got alot on my mind it's not dismantling bench it's the delving bench you get recipes from
Hi Tami, Gaudia is wearing the Gurnakhi armor from the Age of Sorcery battlepass. I'm not sure how you'd get it now. I know they've had Gurnakhi Vandal armour in the bazaar before now.
The problem is that our friend is playing quite carelessly and enter into difficult locations without really checking what's going on. It's also the fact that when you record a video you need to talk and entertain people so you end up quite distracted. And for the poor Aaron, he died because he was on guard only AI and tend to not start a fight unless the player is attacked, or if he gets damage. You need to take care of your thralls since 3.0 because they are much weaker than before untill you have enough point in authority to compensate their weakness. We have just witness such a misadventure with Aaron, if you leave him behind in the middle of a fight with 3 or 4 strong ennemies he's got no chance, you need to get into the fight and help him now. And this armor looks cool but it also seem quite weak. And when you run away and call your thrall, he stops the fight and tries to escape but he gets hit and start the fight again, so this is a very bad idea because he gets a lot of damage trying to escape and doesn't attack much.
@@kukipett yeah i notice.. and i'm pretty sure one of the upcoming episode he will get his horse kill... 😅 yeah i know he is playing quite carelessly, probably on purpose? not sure on his previous series if he is doing the same thing cause i just followed his game play in this series.. and some of the decision he made was a bit weird as well, like i won't buy a worker thrall now if i'm starting a new game play, i'll definitely buy a fighter first to at least get some good Tier4 fighters so that i could at least put up some defenses when the purge hit.. although i know you could potentially clean the purge meter in isle of siptah with the lesser thing.. but still my priority will be secure my base at least to a defendable status before i do anything else.. but yeah i do agreed with you on the thrall after 3.0 being nerf till it's quite weak until you get your authority to max..
@@fttsen I have foloowed him since quite a time and i like the way he's playing, not trying to be the best player ever but just having fun. But i think that he's maybe a bit tired of this game, he just made a full playthrough of the Exile lands and this time he seems to not take it too seriously. I guess he just wants to show the new players the game and well in this way if you start running into dangerous places, you get troubles. The player can always avoid combat and just run away, but the thrall will not and get into the fights behind you and probably get killed. So to do that kind of stuff you better let your thrall and horse behind on guard while you just make a quick run through an ennemy base.
I just prefer looking at a lady's rear end when I'm questing in third-person. In a lot of games there's not a much difference in the view from the back. In Conan it's...er...quite noticeable.
Not sure if it's the same on console but the other day I found out that if I hold the triangle button on controller it would draw my right hand weapon and my shield at the same time. Holding it again puts them away but you have to have them equipped on your back for it to work. Funny thing is I have been playing for over 2k hours on PC with controller and only just discovered this was a thing 🤣
i believe this is a new feature that came out in 3.0, if you are using a PC, pressing the "x" key will do that action, which wasn't a thing pre 3.0.. 🤣
Wow that's great! I just tried it on my PS5 and both my side weapon and shield come up when I press triangle. Like you say, they have to have been equipped previously (i.e. on your back) for it to work. Really interesting. Thanks Lostmuppet.
