Awesome. Glad I found this! Me and my little family of four are planning to backpack about half of the Skye Trail together next year. Just the first 30-40 miles. from the northernmost tip along the Trotternish Ridge to Portree… Then move on up to Orkney. Will be camping and staying in hostels, and the occasional B&B. My girls will be 11 and 14 then. Very excited as I’ve always wanted to take them to Scotland, I was there over 20 years ago and I want my kids to see the land of their ancestors on both mine and their father’s side! The islands of western and northern Scotland are simply breathtaking! And I really loved the brief SpongeBob intermission. Lol we say that around my house all the time when something is taking a long time. :-) Nice video!!
Wow that’ll be an awesome adventure! We’ll need to return when ours are older for something like that 😁 Thank you for taking the time to comment and sharing, we’re glad you enjoyed the video!
Wonderful video! I hope to go to the Isle of Skye at some point of my life... Definitely, I should travel more... Can't wait to learn a bit about Glencoe!
Love your video! What time of the year did you record this? The weather is perfect for traveling! This can't be February or March in Scotland. Is it? What happened to the drone video? Drone crash? Lost in the wind?
Thank you so much for watching and your comment! Our trip was in August of 2021, we arrived on the 18th, and yes the weather the days we were there was great, very sunny and hot for the most part 😁. Regarding your question about the drone, I actually accidentally dropped the hard drive the raw footage was on before I could complete editing the RU-vid videos, still unable to recover. I have a few on my computer, but lost most of it 🙁. We do have more videos coming up from our trip, trying to get those completed soon ☺️
