Isle of Wight Walking: The Nunwell Trail 6 June 2015 

The Nunwell Trail is one of the official trails on the Isle of Wight. It runs for about 8 miles from Ryde St. Johns Road station to Sandown station. The highlight of the walk are the views of the Solent and East Wight from the top of Brading Down. If you are thinking of doing this walk be aware that there is a fair amount of rather unpleasant road walking. There is also a steep descent from Brading Down along a narrow path. The walk took place in sunny, but at times windy, weather on Saturday 6 June 2015.
