Isle Royale National Park Day Trip Itinerary + Helpful Travel Info and Things to Do! 

I spent my 30th birthday backpacking at Isle Royale. Easily one of the most unique and underrated National Parks in the entire country; it offers a timeless wilderness experience that Theodore Roosevelt would recognize. This is a great video!

I hiked Isle Royale last year from Rock Harbor to Windigo for my 50th birthday. 50 for 50. Spent 7 days on the island and took us 5 to hike across. We closed out our trip by hiking the loop to Scoville Point before catching the boat back to Copper Harbor. Took me 20 years to get out there and I cannot wait to go back. Pictured Rocks in a couple weeks as well as 5 days at Porcupine Mountains at the end of the year. Great info and video!

We visited in August too. We spent our day on the Windgo side. I would love to go back and spend a few days! Enjoyed your video and information.
