They did a very good job! It is a shame that Gerald Levert never received his props! He was so underrated! The man was soooo soulful! He could blow the roof off of a building!
The fact anyone would want to try and cover for Ronald is just astounding. To come within 15% of vocal prowess is impressive. A beautiful effort, but not a singer on this planet, alive or passed could pay homage to just how talented Ronald and his brother Ernie are.
I love this tribute. Sisqo is still one of my favorite singers ever. Listen to his tone, his harmonizing - he has always had such an incredible voice. Gave me chills in this video - especially when he came in singing to 'Tears'. "Thank you babaaaay, for the best times of my life"
Loved it, SisQo is raw talent, nobody today can touch his energy, vocal ability, and performance style. After him I feel that this level of performers are gone. Love ya SisQo.
I have this on VHS. Loved these shows back in the day. SING IT, KELLY! 1:20 she starts tearing it up! Even had Angela raising up that hand. This was slammin' tribute even with Sisqo throwin' a "thong" up in the mix. lol. And Gerald Levert (RIP). Only thing that surprised me was him not knowing the words to "Voyage to Atlantis" in the beginning. Artists should always know the lyrics to artist's songs in the tribute set. Thanks 4 sharing this.
i think we always forget how young gerald levert was despite his voice and song choices, or at least i did he was only 34 but he looks and sounds much older
Sisqo sang the hell out the songs. Kelly and Gerald are very strong singers and Sisqo held his own. Good stuff right here. I favorited this video and watch it all the time.
This is a priceless video!! So great hearing Gerald singing in this tribute. Whoever chose these three...did a marvelous job in selecting. Wish they had been on board when selecting Anita Bakers tribute.

They were all great (even Sisqo if you ignore him being extra and LISTEN), but Kelly Price held it all the way down without out even trying. The end of the video sent chills up my spine.
