Hey Heui Sung, this arrangement is jaw-dropping, and thank you so much for the dedication! You always manage to find chords that I've never heard before.

Imagine if he wrote a symphony or, better yet, a piano concerto? I'd be thrown into space if he did. Or even a series of preludes or etudes, like Chopin?

This is extremely pretty and touching. How in the world do you manage to have all those Kapustinesque ideas when you create ? Especially on the left hand ? It's absurd, the level of finesse you managed to reach to make the melody very recognizable while still infusing it with that power-jazz dexterityn which is Kapustin's signature. That balance you have there is crazy. I have no words.

I just want to say you're quite possibly the only musician whose piano transcriptions of popular songs actually make me want to learn them; it's almost like these pieces were just MEANT for piano (and congrats on music school - honestly can't think of a more deserving acceptance!)

It's too lovely! I like how 0:08 mm.8 anticipated 2:14 mm.88 . It is too genius. Is 1:25 inspired by Barber sonata? 1:32 Kapustin _Perpetuum mobile_ Too impressive !! Never stop !!

Great arrangement! Love the Kapustinian "Aquarela" style, but I'm also scared to try it: I'm never going to be able to play the introduction keeping the correct tempo :D A slight correction for the next version of the score, from an Italian: "Molto allegrezza" is wrong, because allegrezza is feminine. It should be "Con molta allegrezza" ("with lots of cheerfulness"). Modern Italians would simply say "Molto allegramente" ("very cheerfully"), but classical music probably goes for that 19th century vibe :D

This is truly a formidable and very clever arrangement. I've never seen somebody incorporate influences as diverse as Knower and Kapustin in the same work, but you've done this so seamlessly and uniquely that you've cultivated a style which is entirely your own. Wonderful, beautiful work! Really looking forward to seeing more :) Also, the way you included that intensely chromatic and spiraling inner line at 0:56 is absolutely genius and super hip, even if it was only for a couple measures haha

I have 3 questions: 1) What was that at the beginning of the video? Is it that kind of intro?) Very interesting 2) I was going to ask, "Who is Timothy Gondola?" but I looked at the description. Then I will ask, "Why do you dedicate your arrangements to him all the time?" 3) In Timothy Gondola's name, only the last letter can stand for a note (A). The other letters, however, are not used to represent notes. Question: "What even happened at 1:19 this point?"
@jasarinvorawathanabuncha6620
@jasarinvorawathanabuncha6620 10 месяцев назад
for 3) just keep repeating the english alphabet after G: H-N, O-U is represented by A-G again

? um this is my first time dedicating an arrangement to Timothy. Regards with the last point, I used the French music cryptogram system. "Timothy Gondola" becomes: FBFAFAD GAGDAEA
