That was terrifying for you. Make sure you talk to someone about it. You don't need it to become trauma, and talking helps. Sending you love

Hi Jessica, thank you for sharing your story. I am glad you are feeling better. I have adrenal insufficiency as well and am recovering from covid. I have a few suggestions that may be helpful. A nebulizer to help with your breathing. I also keep medication everywhere in my house within arms length. I know I have minutes before I can’t function. As soon as I am not feeling quite right I get the meds in my mouth. I know how scary this can be and you are right in that we must not panic. Take care ♥️.

Finally some one who knows what it is like. Did you also get weird breathing problems? Medication everywhere is a great idea. What medication do you get in the nebuliser? Thanks for your comment as I am sure it will help lots of people. All the best in your recovery.

Do you have cataplexy? The fainting thing reminds me of people who have that. It’s part of Narcolepsy type 1. Sometimes people who have Narcolepsy have Adrenal Insufficiency too. I think they give SsRI’s to treat the cataplexy. I’m just learning. Just diagnosed with Type 2 AI and have been under treated. Started experiencing symptoms of so much fatigue. Thought I had ADD and Narcolepsy type 2 without Cataplexy. But realizing I’m probably just under treated AI. Feel so much better upping Hydrocortisone. I’ve had that chest pain for past 4 yrs. When I increased Hydrocortisone chest pain goes away. Ive had chest pain 4 yrs. And had Covid 2x and adenovirus and came to realize I have asthma. Hydrocortisone helps all of that. You probably need steroid inhaler. I have Alpha 1 Antitrypsin Deficiency Gene that makes me prone to Asthma, COPD but at my age (64) probably not get COPD. 2022 has lead me to discover the cause of all these things. Better to know the cause so you can get some treatment. Thank you for your videos. They’re helpful for me. ❤

Your videos are so informative, thank you for sharing. Question: were you diagnosed with empty sella syndrome?

Thank you for your kind comment. Umm.. nope. Never heard of it. Just looked it up and I’m not sure. Curious, why do you think I might have sella syndrome?

What caused your adrenal insufficiency?

I believe it was always going to happen genetically (mutations and all) but also my trigger was pregnancy and more pregnancies and then influenza B where I spent a few nights in hospital and they didn’t really know what was wrong with me.
