I just got into R1999 and have been watching your videos and I can say your voice overs have been getting great. I also appreciate how you only do P0 builds. I shake my head, in other gacha games, everytime I see people make videos that assume maxed out characters

Isolde is by far one of my fav characters along with tooth fairy I lost 50/50 to tooth fairy and got her portrait 1 now!! Then in my next pull I got double Isolde l so I have unlocked portrait 1 of her two!! I so happy my 2 fav characters have their portrait 1 unlocked!! Ty for the guide
Uhhh! Isolde insight 2 outfit is so much better than the base version, the lavender purple really drives home the message of someone soft and delicate while also giving a feeling of uneasiness

Piece of critique: Considering Isoldes psychube, resonance build and even playstyle remain the exact same regardless of if u want to use her as a “support” or “dps”, i’d recommend u don’t say stuff like her skill 1 is ur main source of damage if u want to use her as a dps and her skill 2 is ur main support skill if u want to use her as a support. The truth is u will always use both skills at around the exact same moments even if u choose to view her as a dps or a support. She’s a sub-dps and even if u pair a diff sub-dps or a main dps with her, her gameplay will be the exact same. In a different game where characters gear,builds, equipments, playstyles and teambuilds changes depending on which role u want them to have this actually matters, but in r1999, the build and playstyle is streamlined and each character kind of has a set role they fulfill regardless.
Thank you for the piece of critique. It's very valid and I appreciate the time you took to explain it in detail. To clarify, those parts refer to AP allocation and card cycling. When using Isolde purely as a support, a player may opt on focusing as much of their AP as possible on their main DPS, since Isolde's passive allows everyone to apply burn, and the main DPS will deal more damage than Isolde anyway. On the other hand, although Isolde is a Support and Sub-DPS at heart, she still is capable of dishing decent damage, and I like giving everyone perspectives to play as they like. For those who like Isolde and want to use her as their main carry in a team, they will likely bring other buffers/debuffers to help amplify her damage, and consequently, when it comes to the statistics at the end of a battle, most of the damage will have come from Twirling Melody. Regardless, I may strike out comments like this on future guides in order to avoid confusion or the need of lengthy explanations. Thanks again for your feedback.
I hate not having spatho because of the stupid 50/50 system. I love isolde so much and i wish i could pair her with her best dps team mate. Best i can do is jessica/sotheby or jiu/yenisei atm
Isolde is actually a universal support, she can work with pretty much any team. She may not be as effective if your team doesn't lean on crit, but I recommend mixing and matching units. It can be fun and, who knows, you may find a new favourite team
@@jigo9380 Spathodea will be added to the standard roster next patch, she can spook you any time! Not to mention future reruns, and the patch 1.9 will have both a "select your rate up banner" and a pack that you can buy for 25~30$ that will come with 10 Unilogs and a 6-star selector. I hope she comes home to you asap!
@@liriellhfr I’m ok with waiting I still have other burst options right now so getting spath would probably be an upgrade but I can live without it for now.
@@larsthememelord3383 idk but you wouldn't rly need p2 in longer battles, if ur not f2p then u can go for p2. I personally was also going for p2 but stopped at p1, save for vila or some1 else instead if ur f2p

@@HazZzel- You can run her with pretty much anyone, Burn is just a bonus. Please check the team building section in the time stamps, I list plenty of alternative options.
@@o..17 You need an item called "Gluttony". It's available as a reward in most event shops and game modes. You can also get it from the Psychube shop, but since you're new, I advise buying 6-star psychubes that may be useful for your roster first.
@@CherryOcha Preferably Sotheby. If you don't have Sotheby, you can use any other healer, and bring Kanjira in the 4th slot. If you don't have Kanjira, then bring any other of the 4th slot suggestions or simply a buffer/debuffer of your preference.
@liriellh for the characters I got jiu, 37, Melania, tf, anan Lee, soth, a knight, and lilya (also an druvis but haven't built her). For 5 stars really only got yenisei and bkorn built well enough to use.
@@goldenbanana7250 Isolde is overall a safer bet since she will boost all the characters you already have. However, since you're lacking a bit on Plant DPS, Marcus is a good call as well. The problem with Marcus is that she's a bit underwhelming on her release, but after that, every single patch she gets at least one character that will greatly benefit her (Vila + Avgust, then Kakania, then Mercuria). I don't know about your finances or how many pulls you have, but I'd advise to guarantee Isolde first and then go for Marcus if you plan on getting any of these other names I listed. For more details, I'm finishing the "Should you Pull?" Written guide for Marcus and it should go live on Prydwen still this week. I will also make a video for her but that one likely will only go live on her launch day.
imo its a yes, jiu as a reality damage dealer will be pair really well with isolde reality def- and crit support, you also got rousing morale + power burst buff to amplify your jiu damage even further
I'm sorry for disappointing you, but there was already a lot of content creators covering Jiu and almost nobody covering Yenisei/Getian at the time. Due to RL, I ended up without time to finish a Jiu guide before 1.7.
I love her gameplay, but her singing every time she attacks is so, SO annoying to me. I accidentally got her when I was actually hoping to lose the 50/50 (i want pretty much everyone in the standard banner) so i decided to watch some guides on how to play her. Sadly, I think I'll skip building her and focus on getting more A Knight dupes instead.
@@akoSi94 Yes, she's fantastic for Jiu, especially if you have 37. (Second team commented here). Thanks to all Jiu and Isolde follow-up attacks, 37 fills her Eureka bar super fast.
