I wish that the player base would grow, the dev’s really try to make a great game for the community and succeed every update. Just a shame that it gets overshadowed by bigger franchises..
@@WestlehSeyweld Combining the fronts into one game would have been neat. But the Austro-Hungarian Italian front is a overlooked part of the war that has a lot of potential! I’m glad they made Isonzo, but I do understand the fun of Verdun.
On console it's a nightmare, bad performance but they sell it for xbox one x so it has to work but is unplayable with 20 fps mostly...so this is why i quit.
I bought verdun and thought the gameplay felt like a jankier and unfun version of red orchestra 2. Bought Tannenburg and the gameplay was just as floaty and janky as their first title. I imagine that’s probably why nobody plays this otherwise interesting series, the gunplay is weak and unenjoyable. Also the animations and rag dolls are comically bad
I've always played these games against bots, I appreciate that they still support players like myself who mainly play solo stuff, or at the most, coop with friends.
Lets be honest, the reason why Tannenberg had no players was realy the devs fault, i was playing it in BETa version and it had at least 1 full server most of time and when the game was ready and not beta anymore i didnt even noticed it, devs didnt say much about that game even that i was following them on Facebook they didnt promote it at all and the playerbase was just smaller and smaller and everyone stayed in Verdun
same actually since discovering it the other day, I didn't even know it existed. As I'm getting older in my mid 30s now I really don't like how fast paced gogogo COD became and really don't care for how the Battlefields ended up being, particularly 2042. Hell Let Loose is running simulator extreme, I can only do it so long before my left middle finger for the W key starts hurting very bad, I broke it years ago and it has nerve damage. I'm worried an autorun script would trigger the anti cheat so I've never done one. After trying it, Enlisted is THE most unbalanced thing I've ever seen in my entire life of gaming across generations. Perhaps console without crossplay enabled for Enlisted wouldn't be so bad, maybe it has a very tryhard pc playerbase idk. As a beginner in tier 1 I should NOT being going against high tier people with vehicles and weapons and stats that completely overtake me. I still need to try out Hell Let Loose on console where I wouldn't be at a huge disadvantage in fights using a controller. Basically I'm getting cynical and would like a halfway balanced not extreme paced tactical shooter without miles and miles of running 😂😂. Did you end up getting Isonzo? How is it? It's a shame those Battlefront remasters released the other month flopped on launch, I've had my eye out but literally haven't heard a peep since launch. I don't even have to do exclusive pvp, pve stuff is fine to me. A shame about my finger injury, Stalker Anomaly is really fun but I can only do so much of that too
For a couple hours a day one or two servers are full. I think if they keep updating it and hopefully add different fronts like adding verdun and tannenburg to it the fan base could grow.
Here's a silly idea, a operations mode. And depending on which side wins the game " moves " on the map. To give the idea of your fighting has a effect on the world. Like in BF1 but bigger.
Love how every single Isonzo thumbnail ever is just an Italian officer wearing a bicorn hat and a gas mask running out from a cloud of chlorine towards the screen
Ive just bought it as well as few buddies. Theyre getting alot of HLL converts moving over. When compared with HLL - the game flows better, the mechanics feel better. Movement is smoother (crouching, prone etc..) - maps sizes are much more manageable which keeps the action more consistent. Its awesome the devs are keeping this game live and updated. This games "heyday" is yet ro come.
Yep, HLL is where I came from, and I second the analysis. Isonzo's setting is far more unique and the combination of slower gunplay, more compact maps, and extremely tense and well-balanced point fights make for gameplay that generally feels much less sloggy and more dynamic. It seems very ironic to say that about a WWI game over a WWII game, but if you've experienced the fight over a final point in an extended overtime in Isonzo, you'll know what I mean.
Its truely sad saying this series with only some few players it needed more recognition since those games are awsome, anways im happy to see that the lastest game is going well and on like the other one and i think its time for Africa
@@eladbari Some servers were lacking in players and had bots fill empty slots, but Isonzo recently hit a new peak player count despite it being a year old!
It looked like all the people you shot were bots? Im just curious as to whether the playerbase is alive and if its worth buying this game while its on sale. I played Verdun a bit and it was fun for sure, but yeah just curious if lobbies are full of bots or not
I bought it, So far most of the (Xbox at least), theres usually two full games. Ive put on the crossplay so hopefully it improves. But I wonder if PC has special servers or if they just stack with the consoles through crossplay. But can confirm it is alot of fun! @@marcoeire44
If you are still interested in Isonzo, I bought it today, the severs are very much still alive, I got a full 40 player server just an hour ago (and got absolutely demolished)
Wish they could integrate some of the changes implemented in Isonzo in Verdun/Tannenberg as I like the improvements but got back into the other titles recently and loving them.
Anyone who have played this series for long know the biggest problem facing the community: players on crack that break the balance of the match. Once one of them logs in, its over.
I think that if they mega update isonzo and combine all 3 games and update the old graphics then it will be way more popular (not hating on the series just stating an opinion)
god I love the setting but I hate shooters in fact I still have to jump into these games - which is crazy considering I collect video games and I have hundreds... I guess I'll buy this one... I mean come on as an Italian I have to play caporetto and try win this time around ;)
Looking @ this game rn just not sure if it worth the play? It does look like some pretty good gameplay.. went from COD and to insurgency sandstorm and never looked back, def far better game
I still think them separating what could basically be one big game into 3 separate games is such a stupid decision. Arent they literally just separating their potential player base into 3 different chunks? They really do need to release some form of remaster to make them all one single game in order to concentrate the already niche playerbase in one location.
@@iamnotmental don't judge a game by a free weekend. It will go down to 300-400 afterwards. Too many fames sell you an experience only to find out there are zero servers...no community. And you just bought a hoax game
@@eladbari numbers will fall after the weekend, but i don't think as low as you say because it's also -67% off on sale and there isn't much else on steam doing anything at the moment.
Been playing this for a year and its a lot if fun. There usually are atleast 1 or 2 full servers everytime i play so thats still fine :) The gameplay-flow of the breakthrough-like mode is just amazing for me. It gets really fun once you start mastering the game mechanics
you are aware that "Luigi" is called luigi exactly because Luigi is a generic Italian name, right? Like, people are commonly named like that. It's like there was a charcter named "derek" or "thomas".

My main problem with these games is while each new game does seem to add yoon the previous they more or less feel like expansions with just new maps and a new game mode And if we want to play anothwr game mode? Go play the other Honestly these devs are fucking it up with evwry new one No wonder its overshadowed
The gun sounds aren't very exciting. maps are beautiful but soldiers look too tired. didn't give the Hell Let Loose kind of vibe. communications are missing too. I'm sure many would love it. Best of luck.

I love this game, but unfortunately they are obsessed with being realistic, the weapon variety is very low, there are versions of the same rifle and the same revolver with different skins.
when it comes to isonzos guns, alot of them might seem similar due to most being manually operated rifles, but if u look there are differences between a lot of them. For example the m95 infantry rifle for Austria is available for most classes. However the m95 that is unlocked for engineer is a calvary carbine and is much faster ads and faster rof. This goes with a lot of the infantry rifles, u have the standard size and then the carbine version so it might seem like a reskin but in truth they are different weapons. Also some guns are straight pull en bloc clip and others r bolt action w stripper clips.

I don't get why i logged more than 50 hours in this game. It is literally not fun. It's the equivalent of putting a cheese grater to your face and calling it a "game". Soooo so many better games to play out there that are actually fun.
