Well, this is a more substantial product in price, size, weight, and aesthetics, as well as having an almost completely encompasing treatment around around you and the mic. I have another video you can find that lets you hear the Portabooth Pro, but I don't have a side-by-side example.
George, great unboxing! I'd love to know your thoughts on using isovox for not only cutting out room reverberation but also ambient noise. It's called iso as in acoustic isolation, but it doesn't seem to have been designed for that purpose.
I can't say I was able to effectively test it's performance at isolating from noise. I'd say it damped noise down from fans and other soft sounds, though.
I live in a small apartment and have trouble sound proofing my studio for voice over work. Would this be a good solution for studio apartment dwellers?
George, Let me start by saying I like all your videos. But I gotta tell you, $1000 for this? Wow. I wouldn't pay $500. But that's just me. I'm frankly upset at the fact that they not even giving you a stand as well. There must be other alternatives for less $.
