The protests against Netanyahu are more for internal issues like economy, corruption, and the conscription of ultra orthodox Jews to the army. We should stop calling them prisoners. They have not been charged with a crime. They are kidnapped from either their homes, or while outside on the streets, or from their tents. They are hostages.

I am rereading Victor Frankl's "Man's Search for Meaning," and this reminds me of how the "Capos," the inmate guards, were actually worse than the actual Nazi guards. He explained that these prisoners, once earning their subjectively higher roles, were even more brutal than the Nazi SS guards. Frankl elaborated on how evil can be in the heart of any person, no matter if they are the oppressed or the oppressors. It's sad that Frankl's description of humanity's brutality and carnage is as relevant today as it was then.
