I hate when fighters stall a fight like that. Hugging against the cage isn't gonna do any damage to your opponent. I feel like we see that more and more. It's eighter grapple and go for the takedown or keep standing up.

Izzy has good control of his emotions - switching from fight talk, to the death of a friend and back again is not easy and it wasn’t contrived either. He has character and knows how to bend it.
He really made Vettori look stupid with the head movement and footwork lol. Had him punching air all night and then stalling the fight against cage in the end.

Best striker in the division by far but even the defensive wrestling and scrambles from bottom looked great this fight. Great performance.. I'm just mad that Vettori stalled the fight so much at times. 🤦♂️
It's because he has a garbage gas tank. He was absolutely exhausted in the 4th and 5th. Which was wild when you saw.Izzy still just nose.breathing. dude could have fought another 25 minutes!

Was low key disspointed that Izzy wasn't a little more "honest"(for lack of a better word), Rob has done nothing but improve since he lost the belt, and same goes for Izzy. The chances that rematch is reminiscent of the 1st fight is so low, I was hoping Izzy was going to say "I see him, I see his new game, I see that new challenge, I welcome it, this is a true title fight rematch"
Vettori will never be a champ fighting like that. He does nothing but lay and pray when he gets the takedowns. Glad izzy got the dub. Definitely a fan now.

My brother who also happens to be a Nigerian was hit on the back of his head 14 years ago by one of his friends. He was in a coma for four days. He pulled through. I didn't even see him in the hospital, I think my dad didn't want us to see him like that. He couldn't talk properly for a week or two. I'm just glad he made a full recovery, and I feel for all those that weren't so lucky.

The nz government gives manslaughter in these situations instead of first or second degree murder charges, which in similar situations they can get out after a few years of prison. He's calling out the government to amend the laws so that criminals like that get the prison time they truly deserve.
Izzy is good, but that division is strange, in this match you could see how bad vittoris game actually was, he shouldnt even be fighting for the belt quite frankly, still i dont just see izzy as that special of a fighter, I think it is like with mcgregor, when someone skilled grappler pressured him he was toast like khabib match, as long as he is meeting mediocre grapplers and standing he will keep the belt, 😎

What i love about izzy is he always respect his team especially his coach and he always apologize to his opponents whenever he doing an illegal move like groin kick. You can watch closely, he really feel bad about himself when he unintentionally kick his opponents nut😅. That what make a fighter a real fighter!
Yea they dont have the reach if he fight someone tall with the same wingspan I guarantee he will lose Vetorri was right about one thing when he said Izzy didnt improve much its facts he looks exactly the same as when he fought Paulo he cant executevsubmissions or anything
Have you ever heard a saying, that's says don't fix things that don't need to be fix. Izzy is too good a lot of people don't know that untill they get in that cage with him . You can't blame him for being too good ,making good fighters look stupid

Dude Izzy you gotta give yourself credit. Your Cardio looked amazing, you were composed even into the later rounds. Breathing so calmly and collected. That's impressive.
