Sky News Ali Fortescue speaks to former chair of the Foreign Affairs Select Committee, Alicia Kearns, and former British ambassador to the UN, Sir Jeremy Greenstock, about a possible evacuation in the Middle East.
Sir Jeremy said, "there is no such thing as a straightforward sea evacuation."
And Mrs Kearns said for too long the UK and other Western powers have "forgotten that Lebanon has been in a state of crisis".

Why should they listen to UK and other allies when they know all their actions, no matter how drastic will acceptable. Aid and weapons will continue to pour in no mater what.

Now Let’s see… could it be due to the fact that those groups themselves have been calling for an end to the horror show being viewed by the entire world? which in turn meant that no one with any standing or any functional power could be seen to agree. Those who dared even use the term ceasefire have lost their jobs, they’ve been slandered, threatened with the loss of their future accomplishments etc etc. Not forgetting that washed rinsed and fully dried out term of specific person hate being used at any given moment in time with no basis whatsoever. Or it could be that they were hoping the resistance would do a better job and rid the world of the demonic, colonial, occupying, murderous state in occupied Palestine 🤷🏻‍♀️
