Tensions between Israel and Hezbollah have escalated, with Israel launching its most intense bombardment in southern Lebanon following Hezbollah's rocket attacks. President Isaac Herzog denied claims that Israel targeted Hezbollah's communication devices and warned of Hezbollah’s plans to repeat the October 7 assault. Prime Minister Netanyahu stated Israel’s actions "speak for themselves," while Defence Minister Yoav Gallant announced a "new phase" of war along the northern border.

The conflict has resulted in over 45 deaths and more than 3,000 injuries in Lebanon, with tens of thousands evacuated from both sides of the border as the violence intensifies.

Whether the name was there or not or if it followed the conventions of the relatively newly developed concepts of what a country or state is that's irrelevant. People were there. And Israel (which wasn't there either so your whole argument goes to shit) committed ethnic cleansing against the native population of that land... Palestinians. Most modern Israeli historians acknowledge the Nakba nowadays. You are just being fanatical and unwilling to see the facts.

World history started before 1948!! I srael and the Jewish people have approx. 31/2 to 4000 years history. Archeology confirms this account and the Biblical account. Jesus and Christianity came approximately 2000 years ago..... Mohammed and Islam a few hundred years after that.... Like I said, Palestinian people are from that arab region, but never had their own land and are not the indigenous people of the land of Israel. The Jewish people and Christians people were scattered around the region and world, it is they who were occupied. Israel today is only a small portion of the land that was originally theirs.... I encourage people to stop believing the lies and propaganda....and supporting evil terrrorists..
