My personal opinion is this: Thi is a test for everyone, for the Jewish people, for them to do what they have to do, be Light even that they don't want it have to be obedient. Test to the rest of the world to let the one that was appointed to that particular job of lead to do it. Because it looks like we all are failing the test, one because don't want to offend the other, and the other because wants to do the part the Jewish. It's doesn't matter if your beliefs teach that certain group are to replace the people that THE ONE in charge puts in place to do something. The Lord wants you to fully have faith and trust in him. Your salvation isn't as a collective. It's personal between you and God. Israel said that two of his 12 sons (Simon and Levi) were "instruments of cruelty" (Genesis 49:5) because they had slaughtered a whole family because their sister had been raped. What Israel said to Simon and Levi applies to the situation today. Israel said, "Ye have troubled me to make me to stink among the inhabitants of the land..." Genesis 34:30. The overreaction and cruelty of the tribe of Simon and Levi today is causing Israel to stink among the nations of the earth.

That's a bit of a stretch. Pinchas was not an example of vigilantism for all to follow. He was the right person who took the right action at the right time for a dire, unique situation. That situation cannot be applied to everyone at any time. Berel made no such statement that peace could not come from war, so I don't know where you're getting that from.

Where does it say anything about the plague of frogs, there is an.argument if o e frog croaked and called the millions of frogs, or one huge frog came , and they hit it , and all.the frogs came out of that one frog ( a miracle by itself ) But it doesn't say every time they killed a frog 1000 came out of it...
