IZ performing 'Henehene Kou 'Aka' for his fans at the Waikiki Shell on March 22nd, 1997. As Israel said, "this one's an old Hawaiian classic". Listen to the song here: israelkamakawiwoole.lnk.to/he...
How can this not have more views? This one of his last performances if not his last. Recorded just 3 months before his passing. He was hospitalized later on. Shame that the younger generations can't respect legends like him from Germany, 14 Years old.
I absolutely love this guy, he reminds me of my cousin who was also a musician. Brett Cain, Appalachian moon light is one of his songs here on RU-vid. He wrote himself . IZ is one if my favorites, Somewhere over the rainbow brings tears to my eyes every time I hear it because he does it so beautifully.
IZ you give us so many smiles and such happiness. We know you are not gone but sing to us in a different way. We Love you, good friend, your Canadian family, Drew Hayley Kristy and Big ANDY,

When I was in Hawaii I got to help set the stones north of the village when the lava was flowing. The Rock and the second row second from the right Edge I help set that stone. The far right Stone the lava went over and encumbered the person that was holding that stone. I don't know how many stones they have now. But each lava flow they set the stones and some were sacrificed for the greater good of the village. And then down the road those stones that are set in the multiple rows divert the lava flow set the village never has to move.

Hawaiʻi's current governor cares nothing about the population. Just see how the people of Lahaina suffered from the fire and how many suicide. So sad to see the current state of the islands.
