Killing civilians is not acceptable by the hamas or by the IDF. Anyone who even tries to argue that it is acceptable for one side or another is not worthy of listening. So if Israel is supported unconditionally by the US with military aid, money, geopolitical and media pressure, then it is obvious that Israel is not even trying to create a long term peaceful solution, becuase if it would, then Israel has all tools and aid to do that.
