I still listen this dvd almost everyday. Everything was done in honour of God. The band was amazing amd vocals great. The drummer ando Horns deserve a lot more credit. To God be the glory. This is arguably the best concert in years.
+James Bryson Completely agree! Meleasa Houghton was not just his wife and mother of his children but she also wrote many of these songs and the songs on other albums by Israel. Its a shame how things ended. There is something about Israel (and Kirk) that just doesn't settle well in my spirit. I don't even listen to their newer music. Definitely need to lift them up in prayer!
True, kinda of like when David fell for Bathsheba, God restored him but he had scars from his sin and had to live with it. God Bless Israel, we all make mistakes thank Jesus for the cross. When I was like 18 or so I saw this DVD at a Christian store and bought it. It had a huge impact on my life, I learned to play piano because of this DVD. I would pray and stay up late and worship and God would speak to me. We just have to pray for him and his and his New marriage and also for his exwife.

those 105 minutes influenced me musically more than any other music/song/concert/artist/band. i've been watching/listening to it for 5 years now and it never gets old, never ceases to amaze and inspire me! thank you jesus for israel & new breed.

37:33-37:40 “There is a sound, rising from the people of the Earth, a sound of reformation...” Just that line struck me, Israel just about prophesied it, the sound of the praise & worship is here, everything about gospel music before 2004 was about to change, what Fred Hammond started back in 1993 with the vision God gave him, Israel and New Breed was getting ready to take that music all over the world and bless millions upon millions of people, black, white, red, and yellow, the world was about to experience worship like never before, a new season of worship, a new sound, and a new anointing. I was a kid during this period and to see people of all denominations and backgrounds worshiping together as one was a life changing experience for me, what a spiritual ride Israel and New Breed took us on and we still have yet to come down. The Power of Worship!

In that same year, Kirk Franklin dropped his “Hero” album reminding us that even though there were some local heroes nationwide that helped people out during and after Hurricane Katrina, Jesus Christ is, has been and always will be the ultimate hero.
16 years later, i still remember being in the midst of the children of the Most High in KC, MO. each time i remember this moment, my heart get filled with joy and how i earnestly pray that i continue to go to another level day by day by day and that his praises stay in my heart regardless of life encounters. Gotta keep pressing on....

Idk why “All Around” didn’t become more popular. I mean the “your love is too deep to navigate” part is kinda out of the ordinary, but we usually don’t sing that part at Church anyway, but it’s still an awesome song

The brass section is "Mo Horns" and they used to play for Fred Hammond for a while. Check out his dvd "Speak Those Things". We remain blessed in The Name of JESUS!

I AM A FRIEND OF GOD and REJOICE will always be two of my most favorite songs in the whole world! This concert is 11 yrs old and I still am so blessed every time I watch it. I have the 2 CD set of this concert, it's edited differently, which is very old as well and I still play it on almost a daily basis. I Love Israel Houghton and New Breed. Thank God for the anointing!
