My wife has a friend who lives in Israel and is Jewish. She was talking to her one day and mentioned Jesus to her. The friend referred to Jesus as "that guy who died on a stick." We were floored. We must pray for all of the Jews, especially now.

On a personal note, the only thing good to come of Covid was that I became aware of this wonderful preacher

Are we sure the UN and US had their best interest at heart?? I say that based on the geography of the land they were given: the low ground shaped like a horseshoe surrounded by mountains controlled by their enemies. Sounds more like a coral to finish them off... But God has a divine agenda that will prevail

The verses Pastor uses to say the people in the state of Israel are Gods chosen people state it is conditional on their faithfulness and obedience. It was never about ethnicity. Matthew 12:30, Jesus says, "Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters." A similar statement is found in Luke 11:23. These undercuts the idea that God has two sets of people. He only has one.

Very sad, i definitely need to checkout these prophecies on Israel more.

They are far from perfect. Many are just as secular as the rest of the world but nonetheless, they are God's chosen nation and real Christians should stand for them. 🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱 We know the truth unlike the rest who are fed with lies and love to jump the bandwagon foolishly.

Hey all i want to make sure I'm understanding Romans 9:21 correctly. So how i interpreted it was If you continuously harden your heart to the Lord, he will eventually let you for the purpose of showing his glory . We however are called to pray for everyone.

It doesn’t make sense for Ezekiel’s prophecy to refer to gentiles being raptured. It makes more sense for it to be referring to the remnant of Jewish believers in Israel.

Just wanted to see if anyone remember or knows is there a sermon recently where age of accountability is mentioned as 20? I heard it from a sermon and can’t remember if it was here or not.

Replacement theology is honestly not the reason for the slaughter of Jews, depravity is. Whether we believe in replacement theology, new Israel or not, the gospel is not made obsolete, and the great comission by no means, calls for the slaughter of anyone, but rather a call to repentance and faith. Devils and charlatans kill in the name of Christ. Not Gods people. Much love and respect.

First of all, it’s easy to demonstrate that the passages pulled from Zechariah, Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Daniel were fulfilled when the Jews returned from Babylonian Exile, not some 3,000 years later in 1948. Regardless, let’s address the derogatory “replacement theology” claim. The assertion is that those who subscribe to Covenant theology believe that faithful, born-again believers are, in fact, spiritual Israel in the New Covenant. Is this true or false? Does God have two sets of “chosen people,” one being New Covenant believers and the second being ethnic Jews? Or is there only one people of God? Let's break it down from scriptures: For no one is a Jew who is merely one outwardly, nor is circumcision outward and physical. But a Jew is one inwardly, and circumcision is a matter of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the letter. His praise is not from man but from God. Romans 2:28‭-‬29 ESV "She conceived again and bore a daughter. And the Lord said to him, “Call her name No Mercy, for I will no more have mercy on the house of Israel, to forgive them at all. Romans 9:8 ESV Know then that it is those of faith who are the sons of Abraham. Galatians 3:7 And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s offspring, heirs according to promise. Galatians 3:29 For we are the circumcision, who worship by the Spirit of God and glory in Christ Jesus and put no confidence in the flesh- Philippians 3:3 ESV The True Israel of God are those that are faithful followers of Christ and God. The people that reject Him are not Gods chosen people. John 1:11-13: • “He came to His own, and His own people did not receive Him. The letter to the Hebrews said that new covenant believers regardless of ethic origin are: “The people of God” (Heb. 4:9). “Mount Zion” (Heb. 12:22). “The city of the living God” (Heb. 12:22). “The heavenly Jerusalem” (Heb. 12:22). These passages collectively articulate the New Testament teaching that the true people of God are defined not by ethnic descent, but by faith obedience in Jesus Christ. One nation not two, One body not two. The New Covenant transforms individuals into the children of God and incorporates them into the spiritual family of Abraham, irrespective of their ethnic background.

God is a God of order. We must let scripture interpret scripture. So looking at Matthew 24, we see the rapture take place in v 30-31. Now let's go back and see what happens BEFORE that time. Many will come in His Name, deceiving many. Wars and rumors of war. Famines and earthquakes in various places. They will hand us over and kill us. We will be hated by all b/c of Jesus. MANY will fall away. (Original text says most will fall away.) False prophets rise up. Love of many grows cold. We will see the abomination of desolation. V 21 says there will be GREAT TRIBULATION such as has not occurred since the beginning of time. V 29 says immediately AFTER THE TRIBULATION, the sun will be darkened, the moon will not give its light, and stars will fall from the sky. (Please note: this event happens in Revelation 6. That being the case, what is the rest of Revelation when Jesus tells us the tribulation is over at that point?) All of the things Jesus mentions prior to V29 are what happens with the seals. Since He is telling these things in order, it is clear that we are still here until V30-31. Pastors make a huge error in saying the "7 year tribulation." That is NOT scriptural! It speaks of the time of Daniel's trouble, but it never says 7 years of tribulation. Pastors speak of the tribulation being God's wrath. IF that is the case, then what does that do to Rev. 4:9-10 when there are martyrs crying out? GOD'S wrath would not cause His children to be martyred. These seals are Satan's judgment upon the earth, not God's! At the end of Rev. 6, we see where the wrath of God starts. We are gone by this point. This pre-trib teaching causes me great angst and pain. If I am correct in how I am reading this, the pre-trib belief could cause people to take the Mark of the Beast, thinking, "Well this can't be the Mark b/c I'm still here." It grieves my heart to see how many people will be deceived into error through a pre-trib belief. Another insight is found in 2 Thess. 2:3. Two things must happen before the Day of the Lord comes: The apostasy comes first AND the man of lawlessness is revealed.

Romans Chapter 11: In its New Covenant context... There is no Plan B of salvation outside of the New Covenant Church in this passage. Plan A is found in verses 23 and 24. In Romans 1:16 Paul said the Gospel was taken "first" to the Jews. This time period can be found in Matt. 10:5-7, and Acts 10:36-38, and Gal. 1:14-18. Many try to claim God never gave the Jews a chance to accept Christ, so there must be some Plan B of salvation before or during the Second Coming of Christ. Romans 1:16 proves they are wrong, since Paul said the Gospel went "first" to the Jews. Many ignore the fact that Peter addressed the crowd as "men of Judea", and as "men of Israel", and as "all the house of Israel" on the Day of Pentecost, when about 3,000 Israelites accepted the New Covenant fulfilled in blood at Calvary. The Gentiles were not grafted in until several years later. This passage proves Paul was right about the Gospel being taken "first" to the Jews. Were all of the Israelites "partially" hardened in Romans 11, or were part hardened and another part were not hardened? The answer is found in the "remnant" of Romans 11:5. Paul reveals two different groups of Israelites in Romans 9:6-8. There is an Israel of the promise, and an Israel of the flesh. This is part of the context of Romans 11. Paul speaks about the "remnant" of Israel in Romans 9:27. This is also part of the context of Romans 11. Paul starts Romans 11 with two different groups of Israelites. In verse one Paul reveals he is still an Israelite, even after his conversion. Then Paul refers to two different groups of Israelites during the time of Elijah. There were the Baal worshippers, and there was the faithful "remnant". In verse five Paul says there is also a faithful "remnant" of Israelites during his time. This must be the Israelites who have accepted Christ, as on the Day of Pentecost. Paul uses the two olive trees as a symbol of the New Covenant Church made up of believing Israelites, and believing Gentiles grafted together into the same tree. The unbelieving Israelites have been broken off but can be grafted back in through faith in Christ in verses 23-24. Verse 26 is the problem for many modern Christians. What does the verse actually say, and how is it changed by many in the modern Church. I have heard two of our nations famous preachers say the following. "And then all Israel will be saved..." I have heard another say the following. "And all Israel will be saved..." What does God's Word, recorded by the Apostle Paul actually say? Rom 11:26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: The English word "so" is translated from the Greek word "houto", which is an adverb of manner, instead of an adverb of timing. Some have changed the word from "so" to "then", in order to change the meaning of the verse. How will all of the "remnant" of Israel from Romans 9:27 be saved? The answer is found in the verses that precede verse 26 and are found below. Rom 11:23 And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again. Rom 11:24 For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive tree? Paul quoted from the OT in referring to the Deliverer coming out of Sion to pay for sin. Did this happen at Calvary, or will Jesus die again for His people in the future? Rom 11:27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins. Verse 28 can only be understood by looking at how Paul started the passage. He started with two different groups of Israelites and he ends the passage in the same way. There are two different groups of "they" in verse 28. One group of "they" reject Christ and are the enemies of God, and another group of "they" are the election which accept Christ through hearing the Gospel and faith. Rom 11:28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes. Based on Luke 21:24b-28, the times of the Gentiles comes to fullness at the Second Coming of Christ. This agrees with what Paul said in Romans 1:16 about the Gospel going “first” to the Jews....

At @11:05 quoting Ezekiel 37 as fulfilled by the Israel forming in 1948 is incorrect because the chapter says that they’ll no longer hold to their detestable things and all have one shepherd and King David (referring to his descendent Jesus) will rule over them. The Jews unfortunately still hold to the Babylonian Talmud which says Jesus is in hell boiling in human excrement. Does God bless a rebellious people who say this about His Son? Maybe you believe so, but I don’t. I think God is judging Israel for her disobedience. Look at Ezekiel 16-23. It’s clear that God is judging them by raising up enemies against them to spur them to repentance towards Christ.

The Bible never teaches unconditional respect of Jewish people. They were always treated conditionally based on their faithfulness and obedience not based on their ethnicity. Today’s Israel has no semblance to the obedient faithful remnant of ancient Israel.
