USSR lost 27 million people in WWII. Germans were exterminating civillians, burning villages with inhabitants, bombing cities. Millions perished from starvation in the siege of Leningrad. If the Soviets used Pierce Morgan's logic of the right to respond in the same way, Germany would have just dissapeared from the world map with all their cities. Kudos to professor Mearsheimer to pointing out the restraint Soviets had after all they had to suffer. Contrary to the myths and stereotypes

he has been programmed with "we are the leaders of the free world". He shows in multiple cases int his interview he understands the causes of war to be ideological, instead of ecponomic, which does not reflect the reality. Ideologies are pushed an dpropagated by ruling classes to serve economic interests of certain socio-economic formations, or classes within them. Morgan has the western schoolbook naive view that the crusades were about christianity. Yes maybe the people fighting even thought that, but this is a very naive and unscientific view of history and reality

Morgan is wrong in law, and here is why: the USA has an embassy in Kiev, and there is zero doubt that Pentagon officials meet with Ukrainian military officials in that embassy. No doubt whatsoever. So ask yourself this: would Russia be justified sending a Khinzal missile into that embassy when those meetings were taking place? Mr. Mearsheimar is a brilliant man. On an entirely smaller scale: As a soldier for the US Army, and a contractor after my so called honorable service, this interview brightly illustrates how we see the so called oppressed and those forced to cooperate. The collective thought: If you’re with us, no matter the reason, then you’ll be ok. I had arguments with other service members about laundry services. Again, it is minuscule, but important. The TCNs (3rd Country Nationals) were treated like crap. The arguments were directed at some of the other US service members and their discontent with TCN that provided those services. Most assumed that those providing services for all of us, should be lucky, and that they should be happy, and that they were making more money than they’d would ever make. Seriously?!

In a proper interview, the interviewer is supposed to ask questions, allow the interviewee to complete their points with very minimal interruptions that way the viewers can form their opinions based on complete answers from the interviewee. If you want see an example of a good interview skills, I suggest you check out Judge Napolitano. He asks good questions and allows his guests to get their points across without minimal to no interruption. Piers Morgan can learn a thing or two from him regarding proper interview skills.
