I think a fairer assessment of the two PM's commitment to ISRO would be to compare percentage of budgetary allocation, not absolute INR figures. After all, you can only spend money if you have it. And comparing the economic heft of the country under Manmohan and Modi would be like comparing your earnings when you're starting your career at 25 vs when you're 50. You wouldn't be earning what you are at 50, if you did not start with what you did at 25.

They should enter the dollar value of 3286 crores in the inflation calculator below and take the utmost liberty of posting the same in 2004 (i.e. when the value of INR was higher as compared to 2020 & not even year wise calculation of inflation) and compare it with the dollar value of 6647 crores in 2020 when the value of money(rupee) has in fallen the most. Banning will hamper blockchain based innovations and research. Currently, there's no roadmap as such for national crypto means gov is not interested. Instea of this it's even better if a CAGR was reported. For Manmohan it was 8.66% (Year on Year increase) For Modi tenure it is 13.53% (Year on Year increase) Not sure if it was because ISRO started generating revenue due to investment of previous tenure of new increased budget.

Inflation happens every year. That's why our banks give 7% intrest rate to us per year. Which means 100 rupees last year are worth same as 107 rupees as current year. Which also means instead of paying 100 rupees for a product you will be paying 107 rupees. This is just to make someone who can't understand what is inflation. Done take the numbers literally.
One can easily see the slope to determine the rate of growth. Inflation hasn't been much different these two governments so including that would be just redundant.

You should compare the budget as percentage of the gdp in manmohan vs modi tenure as the economy increase budget will increase. Also compare the other countries agencies budget as a percentage of their gdp. That will giver better understanding.
