In today’s episode, we welcome a very special guest; Nambi Narayanan. He is an Indian aerospace scientist who has worked for the ISRO for several years. As the senior official at the ISRO, he was in charge of the cryogenics division. He has been awarded the Padma Bhushan, India’s third-highest civilian award, in March 2019.
In this episode, Nambi sir revealed some unknown facts about his professional life and how is past 24 years have been spent fighting for justice. He also opened up about what his life looks like today. Furthermore, he revealed the time of his torture and conveyed the whole story of those years.
This conversation was centered around the life of Nambi Narayanan who had worked tremendously for our nation but in return, he was provided nothing but torture. Schools & colleges in India, are just a dirty business at this point! None of them give a shit about how much you actually learnt, they just care about the degree & those marks! Its just messed up... I also blame parents, too!

My friends r all young parents now, with both working, what choice do they have? If every single option there is, is the same..they r only interested in sucking the life outta parents by taking a huge chunk of their salary & the worst part is teachers r overworked & underpaid! Teachers salary feels like a slap & an insult to somone who chose that career path! & schools act like a “population control” institution that’s there for punishing couples for having kids😂

i think its rapidly changing because of online resources. i graduated 15 years back, that time CS freshers resume had stupid skills like win xp, 98 etc. nowadays is see freshers CV with competitive coding, research papers and quality open source projects and these are from tier 2 and tier 3 colleges. So definitely the quality of engineers has massively gone up in india in the last 5 years or so.

Better to say exposure has gone up along with trends and not the standards. The skill sets mentioned today would be seen as stupid 10 years later... Quality and standards can improve only when there is a strong sense of indigenous culture which would shape the policies, decisions and popular perceptions etc.. The Indian engineering as of today is a service entente to MNCs can't thrive on its own

There's no point in talking the quality education without proper competition Just follow the rules 1. Throw the college which fails to provide at least 10 projects which is socially, environmentally and user friendly helpful 2. Conduct yearly exams for professors, educators out of 100 in their own field eg thermodynamica, mechanics etc. 3. Call off the licences of professors, educators who scores marks less than 70% 4. Follow a frequent survey of students who studies in respective institutions about quality education. 5. Each and every year upgrade the appendix syllabus I mean the elective syllabus to improve both practically and theoretically 6. Most importantly the educational syllabus must be 90% practical and 10% theoretical. Follows these and see the changes

Reducing number of engineering collges will never be a solution as it only increases competition and eventually in to a state of depression…..instead of this changing way of study is only solution….bringing practical study is only solution…well none of students should not be asked for job experience after their study from any engineering collage in india,that should be the way this collage should teach….

AICTE is in shambles man they haven't done any improvement in the technical Institutes. The finance ministry doesn't have interest in the education budget, AICTE is trying to grab the money for useless campaigns. I have seen AICTE giving 30-40 lakhs to colleges for setting up some idea labs and supporting technical clubs but that money is not fully utilised there is a lot of corruption.

The service sector has surpassed the manufacturing sector in india. Many bright students are not interested working in the manufacturing sector due to very low initial pay. The government must focus improving the education system, most of the students lack curiosity for their subjects they study. There are no improved labs and equipments in most of the engineering colleges. All are just studying to get good marks in competitive exams and get a good job not studying for knowledge and apply them in their real life.

If savarn is poor then give him 'Free education' etc, but why Reservation? Is poor Savarn is going to face discrimination? Never. Whereas even 'Rich Dalit' will always be considered untouchable and face discrimination in jobs and colleges. That's why still today, Savarn will marry their Son/daughter to poor Savarn, but never marry them to even 'Rich Untouchable'. I hope you understand what reservation is. Colleges aren’t for learning but for branding. Learning is free on youtube. The problem is there are not enough decent jobs in India. If a random IT company can hire a guy from mechanical and make him a s/w developer for 3LPA.,the quality of jobs are also bad. Why do you need a room full of smart engineers if there are no jobs of that standard and pay. I feel indians are the lowest paid engineers. Everyone wants to talk about productivity and education and what not, not about salary? I wonder how the same badly educated engineers become so productive when they go abroad. Even people in the US complain about their education system. No education system is perfect. We are in the time of ChatGPT. People can easily write up assignments using it. I agree a lot of them shouldn’t pick engineering but what are the other safe options BA with no job

What Ranbeer is refering to 2/200 or 21/200 is for the reserved category. Open category talented students have no futureand won't get a seat even if they scored 180/200. Politicians have commercialized education.

If someone is really interested in Engineering he/she will should try to go to top 7 IIT's only i.e. IIT-Bombay, Delhi, Madras, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Rorkee and Guwahati (In some branches Hyderabad and BHU are also good), these IIT have a lot better infra and compared to priavte colleges are much better and less mugging up and more knowledge. My brother was a IIT kharagpur student (Job in year 2020, currently in samsung S korea, 1.5 CPA (crores per annum package)). The whole point is the best ones like Nambi sir said are where you learn and get knowledge, others are where you kill your own time lol

I do not think IITs are the best if you are REALLY interested in engineering. They are a good place to make you think and are surrounded by others who are passionate (from what I experienced at IITM). Most graduates move away from engineering very quickly in their career. (even if they start there)
