Nobody ever dresses straight out of the runway except silly fashionistas. The shows are basically to create interest and exhibit the skills, talent and genius of the people behind the label.

I have mixed feelings about recent presentations. I think the blob of fabric might be one of the dresses where a person can change the way. The dress is great to make it individual to that person. I think the idea is that the person is contributing to the design? But to be truthful as much as I love the idea, I can’t say I love the look. I will say that the winter collection is more interesting in my mind then the recent spring 2025. Also, this show features women’s wear and the women’s wear just edges out in general as more interesting but again not much to get excited about.
A blob of fabric coming down the runway does not show design ability. It seems a lot of the fashion houses are over as soon as they are handed to other designers.
