Fun fact: This scene with code and isshiki got remade later on when it gets manga canon again in the code arc. They add a extra scene from the manga and changed code design. Code is way better in the manga the anime makes him a soy, but he is unlucky to face strong people.

Yeah, I was confused when his claw marks were gray instead of black like in the manga and then they went and changed it to how it should be! Which are the kinds of things that make me feel like anime canon is even more filler than it already feels when they try to make sure everything matches the manga so closely😅

U have to watch till 227 imo.... Then jump straight to 274 (labrynth game arc thst connects to the manga settup)

Unless that additional Kara member shows up in the canon material later, we'll be skipping the Labyrinth Game arc since there are no other connections to the overall plot.

@@DeGRAreali get you guys want to skip "filler" which i don't consider the anime arcs to be filler its pretty clear that the manga intentionally left gaps out in the story for the anime to add more especially with clear evidence being the Kara Actuation Arc, and the Mitsuki's Disappearance Arc which straight up killed one of the og kage. same with the school trip arc that wasn't shown in the manga but was mentioned back in the Ao arc meaning Kagura was canon even if people want to deny it, I think the whole Boruto anime filler debate is stupid anyways and it's all canon at the end of the day unless specifically stated not to be plus they fleshed out characters like Boro and Victor so i don't these arcs were ever intended to just be there to let the manga catch up by the writers or directors, Boruto doesn't follow traditional filler like other shonen anime does. Boruto being a monthly series also means they don't have time to focus on other stuff besides the main plot which is probably why characters like Metal Lee only appeared in a single chapter and hasn't shown up since, other teams besides 7 and 10 not appearing because they don't have any point in the story right now and Sumire being the only one from Team 15 too appear in the manga because she only plays a role after transferring to the ninja science department, I without question do think that if Naruto was a monthly series back in the day characters like Tenten probably would have appeared for a few pages and then disappeared until the end maybe, same with lot of the Konoha 12 except Hinata, Team Ino Shika Cho, Do i hope that the other team characters like Denki and Wasabi appear in the manga at some point? yes... is it likely? probably not though Wasabi does appear in the Konoha Shinden Manga, their not forgotten or filler they just don't have a role in the story right now since its so team 7, Kawaki and team 10 focused right now. And lot of the material that feels isolated from the rest is because they were adapting some novel content too such as the Steam Ninja Scrolls arc about Mirai which is canon, Class Rep Sumire directly appearing in the manga and being referred too Class rep despite not appearing before in the manga as the events of Boruto in the academy were only touched on a bit in the manga but were entirely shown in the anime and novels, and the entirety of Code appearances during the Kara arc who if i am not mistaken was mostly absent only appearing when kara was first introduced, and wasn't shown again until the end after Isshiki was killed off where the anime showed his personality and hinted at his real power when he threaten Boro... All of this is evidence in my eyes that everything from the anime is canon unless it's really out there if even that, So with all of that said I still believe you guys skipping these arcs is a major disservice too the show in general since they are more then just filler and help fill out areas where character development and world building is much needed, plus the upcoming chunin exams anime arc 221 to 230 has some very interesting and unique fights that occur such as one of Sai's students facing his son Inojin... And Denki's fight as a major underdog which is a really good fight.
