There is a moldable plastic called Sugru that is amazing. I use it to mount my gopro to my helmet. Never had an issue. It comes in all colors. That may be something a little better looking that that plumbers puddly. You have such a beautiful bike, its a shame HD does not have a fix for those.

My buddy was talking about getting that empire collection yesterday. I'll give him the heads up before he buys it. Good looking out bro thanks Edit: bro i hate being negative but i don't think that will hold. You shouldn't have to jerry rig any of that especially being as expensive as it is. Harleys gotta make it right

Wood, what's up man. Awesome video. With those Allen head bolts you got to make sure they are seated all the way in before turning if it's rusted or dirty just tap it in and you can use a deep well socket and extension to fit around the Allen key and tighten. Like others said loctite everything.

That’s crazy! The Empire collection cost way too much money for these type issues! I hope they rectify the problem soon.

I had the same issue with my bike and my fix was because it was metal on metal, I wrapped like a two way tape so it would tighten better and it worked. The metal was just slipping, but not as much as yours. And for the studs maybe use a little bit of blue loctite on the floor boards.

The floor boards look nice but I kept the regular pegs when I went with the Kahuna Collection.

Jr next time you have a problem with the HWP find out and mark were you want them remove them clean with rubbing alcohol get some 3m two sided tap and put it around the bar and reinstall that should do much better than electrical tape, that is not something electrical and if that does not fix it let me know and I will tell what to do to fix both peg problems, and the guys @ the dealership prides them selves on this type of advise.

IDK Wood, I think equal voice might sound a bit different hahahahahahaha. I agree working on your bike does feel great, I've added front and rear highway bars and sometimes find myself just sitting the garage staring at it from time to time.

Brotherman, try the Ciro highway peg mounts. The are really nice and will take care of you problem.

I was having this issue with the tour pack . I used gorilla glue on the end and pushed it back in haven't had a problem since . I would want my money back or a complete new set from harley. I know it's not Savannah Harley fault. But the parts manager should be able to exchange them

You could also use clear or white silicone to seal it with.

I have a suggestion for the screws coming out is lock lite

On that passenger floor broad I just use a tap die set and made some tread and used a bolt with some lock Tight

Try using some black silicone I think it should hold better than the putty . Wipe it down with some alcohol first.

Try the highway peg mounts from Ciro3d, part number 60022.

you should not have to pay for rear floor board if the part is defective. HD needs to step up

Maybe do a slight bend on the pin with pliers may keep it in.

I never got the passenger empires yet…. All the money we spent on this why do we have to go thru this? Did harley refund you for the first pair? This is crazy… I have the kuryakyn long horn offset pegs for the empire I love em….good video brother… harley should hook you up… appreciate the 🙏🏽

Kuryakyn clamps are the answer for that highway peg..pegs... that's sad that HD can't make better clamps.

If you're having a problem with passenger pegs? Baby when you're riding alone. Take a small bungee cord and tie them up that way if they come loose you won't lose them

It an Allen head Bolt not a torx. That’s why the head of the bolt it messed up

ELectrical tape?? Really?? Do the guys at that dealership hate you? One Savannah summer will loosen up that tape. Go to Walmart and get a cheap bicycle inner tube. Cut a 1 inch section from it. Cut that piece so you can wrap it around the engine guard. Reinstall the foot peg. You won't ever have the issue again. Well, fix that damaged screw first.
