Sorry, the loading example was a little confusing because I loaded different inventory amounts in different files! But once you grasp the base concept its pretty straight forward, whatever amount you offset is what will be transferred starting from the right side, and some things wont be duplicated. Hope that helps!
This is what I love about BotW. There are so many crazy glitches that make the game more fun. But at the same time, the glitches are so complicated and obscure that you won't stumble on them by accident. You can easily play normally and you won't experience any of these game-breaking bugs. It's truly a win for everyone.
Well said. The developers did a good job keeping the game stable from a casual's perspective, while still granting glitchers and speedrunners an endless playground of fun bugs. They even said they wouldn't remove the fun glitches for that very reason.
@@Linkusminkuns Yep when you have to go out of your way and look up a tutorial and INTENTIONALLY try to break the game, it's not the developer's fault anymore. In fact it's a testament to how well they designed the game if the glitches are that hard to find.
There's got to be a way to glitch off the plateau without the runes...that will be epic if we can just instantly go to the castle, get stuff, end game.
@@richardmahn7589 I am late, but there is. You can transfer the glider to a fresh save with IST, alongside the Champion Abilities if you have them. The offset generated goes from right to left, so the first item it covers will be Urbosa’s Fury. Then Daruk’s Protection, Revali’s Gale, and Mipha’s Grace. The final Key Item it covers will be the glider, if you made an offset of 5.
Watching the BotW community struggle and then prevail in understanding this glitch has been a real treat- I’m so glad we finally have an official RinHara5aki tutorial!
Desperately want to know how to play in uncorrupted hyrule. One of my biggest irks with the game is that once you beat Gannon you can’t play in the nice peaceful land
My girlfriend has been wanting this since day 1 of playing the game. Can’t wait for the video on it, really struggling to find anything about it online
I followed a guide to obtain the bow of light and remove all negative side effects by making arrowless offsets. Really cool glitch would recommend El duende 05's video on it
Excellent video! Your breakdown of the glitch was easy to understand. It truly is amazing how broken some of the glitches in Breath of the Wild can be yet it adds so much to the game instead of making it unplayable. The efforts of this community is incredible.
I would love it if you would explore saved Hyrule for us, it is something I have wanted to see for so long but we're not getting until like the start of BOTW 2 (maybe)
INSANITY i mean how often is it when there is a glitch in a big game where you can do things like duplicate any item, create impossibly powerful weapons with modifiers that were never added to the game, and load into a world that you only ever see in a cutscene?
A guy called el duende05 made a guide. It took me about 2 hours to get the BoL and thats after I messed it up so I had to do it twice. He’s also releasing a guide on how to get the glitched items like the 200 dmg BoL
Not able to replicate the glitch. When I reload, I’m back with the same inventory. I manually saved before starting the glitch and reloaded the saved file. What am I doing wrong?
Ok- I’ve been looking for a way to have a peaceful Hyrule for years now. Can someone explain how I can do it? He mentioned it at the beginning of the video, but I’m not exactly sure how it’s done.
Bro you have to do a video on save prompt storage. Also if you do this glitch can you go into the broken master sword cutscene to get the broken master sword?
@@tinbeef7813 he’s been the one making/documenting most of the discoveries, but he hasn’t released a Full Tutorial for the weapons with crazy modifiers
Hey I think I have a tip, but it may be already known. During the blood moon, the track that plays is not a single track, rather the different notes you hear are set to play based on the time. This can be noticed as if you pause during a part of the moon, the note that recently played will loop until the next time interval is reached.
A lot of tracks in the game do that! The battle music adjusts depending on the type of enemy, and the divine best dungeon music changes depending on how many terminals you have activated.
I did this glitch at rito village and I ended up with spirit orbs completely filling up my inventory, making it so that when I got to master kohga later in the playthrough I couldn’t pick up the Thunder helm and had to start over lol
I LOVED how thorough you were on this tutorial 😍. Please please please make a weapon mod tutorial and which foods to use to get 10x spread or 10x linear (boss killer) bows!! Pleeeease D:
I have messed with IST a lot recently. One of the most mind boggling things I have seen while using it is when I had 2 stacks of korok seeds, spent them all, then my seeds from my second stack was added onto my primary stack, so it said +26 even when I went to spend them
I already have the bow of light and your telling me that you can make a tutorial on how yo make it into the most overpowered weapon in all of botw history? Yes please! 🥺
See, this is why I like GameSpot. He always explains things so well and straightforrward. Without him, I would have never been able to learn countless facts about Zelda, and how to do several glitches. Thank you, GameSpot. You help shape the community of botw. ♥
Already got the bow of light using the glitch a few days after it came out, but the unused modifiers are a whole other level and im just excited for what they discover next
Please do the tutorial for weapon modifier corruption I want to shoot a bow with 10 arrows more than anything and if it could be the bow of light from the end of the game Itll be better
I had trouble understanding a tutorial on how to get 999 koror seeds using IST. I have done the menu overload to get infinite rupees by selling royal guard shield, and used it to duplicate items like ancient cores. Can someone help me with the koror seed thing? Oh and I did the essence glitch to get full hearts and stamina.
If you do the weapon smuggling method for menu overload and don’t get any arrows of any kind during set up (even having 0 is bad) You can ensure that you won’t have any issues with arrow inventory slots
My list of the most op botw glitches: 3:no clip (basically go through walls with a shield) 2:moon jump (infinite jumps, let's you complete almost all shrines easily) 1:IST (dupe, infinite foods and op weapons)
Are you sure that this setup is the only way? Because the latest speedruns with the exception of the any% use a different method than having 4-5 duplex bows with electric arrows. Like having a set number of items and weapons before going to the shop and performing the hold smuggling glitch while selling items and cycling items.
With menu overloading, i found if you keep drawing the arrow after every drop/ equip. It was easy to get the overload. You lose an arrow each overload, but i had far more success, especially with lower count multishot bows like the Duplex.
Yo, it seems like you know a lot about glitches so I might as well ask my issue. On my master mode file, I have 999 korok seed but I have 2 spirits orb. One of them is blank but one of them has a image and when I do shrines only the blank one grows and I can't use them. Do you know any solutions to get rid of the blank spirit orbs?
Just for understand better. So I need so many offset slots as many key items for duplicate some items, and if I have arrow slots but I don't want to duplicate them?
Hi, I tried this on my main before finding your video and my key item menu is filled with black slots for some reason. Is there a way to fix it ? I haven't been able to find anything so far.
You did not mention when to pick up the dropped bows on the ground. Should this be done before loading the auto-saved record? or after it? Will the bows be lost?
The only thing that upsets me about all these glitches is that, thanks to Nintendos nuclear approach to glitches, none of the glitches discovered in BOTW will make it into the sequel. In fact, nintendo may choose to delay the fame further for the sole purpose of making sure these glitches get patched Super Mario Maker 2 was a prime example of how Nintendo treats glitches. Deleting "corrupted" levels, making the cat suit unsatisfying to use just to prevent Cat Momentum Cancelling, and reverting QOL improvements just because they were unintended (icicles acting as global ground)
Nintendo seems to have a different attitude about BOTW. They said they won't patch out fun glitches like this because they know we enjoy them. Just look at all the updates the game has gotten, and almost none of them have patched these out. The only glitches Nintendo has removed are ones that made the game unplayable and/or were easy to find. And since 99% of BOTW's glitches are harmless, fun and not easy to find, I doubt Nintendo will bother patching them in the sequel, and if they do it would likely be in a later update. They know we like to play with these exploits which is why they keep them in.
