As a Chinese learning German (for 5 months), this video is also great learning material for me haha. I just wanna point out that the character 语 actually is not random things thrown together. 吾is a fancy way of saying 我(I). It’s used more in classical literature and rarely used in modern everyday conversation. So, it actually makes sense when pairing with the speech radical😂. Also, 子 primarily means child, and the character 好 suggests something like a child with a woman, which can be interpreted as symbolizing the joy of new life and goodness. The son preference phenomenon you mentioned is definitely despicable and must be ended asap, but I don’t think 好 has anything to do with it.
肚子直叫 is a contraction of 肚子 一直 叫. 直 doesn't literally mean "straight" here. 一直 means "continuously, non-stop". 叫 originally means "to call out", therefore to "make a sound". In this case you can think of it as a metaphor that attributes to the stomach the ability to scream or howl like a living creature. So a translation into English (I don't know German) would be "(my) stomach keeps growling" and it makes perfect sense. 事 in this case means "work". So 本事 means your main/original occupation, therefore implying ability.
Kleine Korrektur.
