I think he may mean to just have a kind of cognizance while going through it and paying attention to the pain and its causes, not purposeful stupidity but still a good a point in any context and I’m not sure either way of the sensor meaning but the point seems to be in the vein of awareness and trudging through the mud we all have to go through instead of beating around the bush and/or maintaining blissful ignorance
OR u could do as those of us with a horrible life do: start All this (ie grown-up stuff) in ur teens. Or, don't; because the pain doesn't go away; u just make urself stop thinking about it. Truest statement of this vid is 'it doesn't matter'.
It's funny, I feel like I have had to move in the opposite direction, away from 'nothing really matters,' and towards 'this needs to matter; this matters to other people and I need to respect their views and not be a dismissive, stabilizing, neutral force; I need to linger here in the depth of this emotion; I need to communicate my deep emotions more loudly to other people so that they receive signals from me'. But I also feel like I might be a sleep dom INTJ, so there's that.
I wonder if this man is not more Te than Ti. There is zero Fe friendlyness in him. Sure, Ti-doms talk in a way that is void of feelings, but it's generally come across as less pushy and more calm than this man . Also, they tend to typically more so advice things calmly wheres this man tells you what you _should_ think lke high Te people can be prone to do
@@J11_boohoo He's only talking about Te goals, measurement, ISTPs might talk about a mission(Ni), discipline(Si Critic), but not necessarily about Te goals. They care more about the progress. I agree, that's not an ISTP. He looks like an INTJ to be frank, his attire looks way too formal, he looks way to focused on how others perceive him, he has these small chuckles to himself which remind me of Fi users. His statement of "nothing lasts" could also be Ni Dominant. "Make smarter decisions on the upside and worry less on the downside" totally sounds like Te-Fi, especially with Te Parent wanting to improve others thinking. PS: Just look at him and Dave in the thumbnail, they have the same facial features.
My problem with this is the following: The data that Dave is referring to says that you always stay between a 7 and an 8, which isn't that major of a difference. Like you probably won't even notice it that much. Like if you were to actually map out the graph on a 1-10 scale, rather than a 7-8 it starts looking a whole lot less dramatic. But the way he sells rock bottom sure sounds a hell or a lot lower than a 5. Like there'll be over a 5 point difference between your lowest and your highest. Which is not what the data says.
Well what I figure is, these stats are self-reported measures of overall wellbeing. Unless they are severely struggling with mental health *and* very open with themselves, (rare combo, most hide their pain) people are going to report what they consider average, 6-8 -- just like most people mindlessly respond "good" when asked "how are you doing?". The line shows the general trend -- wellbeing lessens till midlife, then spring back up -- but i believe the intensity is (immeasurably) muted due to social expectations.
this chart is only true for gen Xers and early millienals. Zoomers started out way more unhappy and it only drops from there since we'll never have any economic opportunity in our life times
@@SistoActivitatemAtm Nope, that's you and if you continue like this. You'll realise that in your deathbed at 90 or smtn. Why are you in the comment section of OPS in the first place.
Hey guys, I've watched only a couple of vids and I'm fascinated! Question: can we change any of our animal orders or functions .. ? Does it change with age / life circumstances? Eg. I wanna be a play over sleep gal, and balance consume and blast ... Like Dr Joe Dispenza says personalities can be changed with practice - is that true do you think? How does self esteem and confidence, self-concept play into this way of typing? Also... in those OCEAN and 16 personalities type tests I score in the high 90s for neuroticism 😅 Every time I do a Myers brigg I get a different result. I've been a INTJ, then a diplomat, then a campaigner, then an explorer type. Hoping your system will give me some consistent results 🙏
@@TurtleChad74 Society creates the problem then sells the solution. Society brainwashes us into believing that humans are flawed. That makes people feel bad. Then society says personal growth is the solution. If people succeed at personal growth, then they say "personal growth works". That message reinforces the belief that humans are flawed and need personal growth. And so the vicious circle continues.
