Dmax!!! I have been a hilux owner for many moons. I just bought the x terrain and I am very excited something to suit my job (geologist) with comfort and safety! Great for my two giant furry children. Also agree on how soft the steering wheel leather is!
@@CarSauce I have been watching most of the videos on RU-vid regarding Isuzu Dmax and to my understanding that is supposed to be the 2020 model while the 2021 model is more like the Ford raptor, which will be released in 2022. But let's keep it a secret, okay!
Nice review you looked like you had fun. Just FYI that "breaking control system" is a rebrandge tow pro elite and nothing to do with hill decent its for controlling trailer breaks. Your reviews are fun keep em coming!
Another great review Matt! Any thought on reviewing the 2021 Nissan Navara in MANUAL guise?? Even the top spec (STX) has the option of a manual transmission. The only ute which offers this!
Awesome review! Great energy. Oh, and the little storage at the back seat, next to the usb port would be for your cell phone while you charge it. Makes absolute sense.
I am by no means a ute person and would never buy one, however this new D-Max and the new Mazda BT50 are actually very nice utes. Ford Ranger.....I have a bitter past with Ford so I won’t comment on that! Haha. P.s great review as always!
We purchased 2 of the SX single cab variants. Very nice to drive for a base model ute, but the safety systems are far too overbearing and sensitive. Haven't worked out how to turn them off permanently yet.
Congrats! I didn't do an in-depth dive into settings, but the lane keep assist for example was off until you turned it on with the steering wheel. Everything else I thought was great, maybe the AEB was a bit sensitive with its warnings!
Hi Matt, would you find it tough to buy the D-Max before seeing the brand new Ranger due out late next year? Clearly I’m asking without you knowing what the Ranger will be like, but given the Ranger is already around the top of the pack, and it’s a safe assumption it will become better, buying something else at the moment (if not desperate to buy) is a game move imo.
Great question, if you are in no rush then probably wait. To be fair, for all we know the new Ford Ranger could be a total lemon. Or it could continue to be probably the most loved Ute. Time (and reviews) will tell 🙂
I have the new SX Dualcab. Great car except the Lane assist setting reset every time you turn the key. Supposed to be a safety feature!!! Super dangerous when the road you are on is narrow and only a centre white line. It’s going to cause some major accidents.
Sorry to hear that Stephen! lane keep and centering assist is certainly not everyone's cup of tea, and there can be some instances it's good to just turn it off 🙂
@@CarSauce very true. It works amazing for city and highway driving. I’m worried about all the grey nomads that will be towing with these and aren’t being told to turn lane assist off every time they startup. The manual states not to tow with it on but none of the sales guys I talked to mentioned it. Other than that I’ve done over 16000ks in 8 weeks and it’s a fantastic Ute.

Before anyone gets carried away with the 5 year 125000 mile warranty read the small print ..mine has just gone in to have the ac valve and evaporator changed ..31/2 years old , 35000,,fully serviced miles but not apparently covered by the warranty ..the bill will be huge ..Isuzu UK offered nothing but words ...my last Isuzu I’m going back to Toyota ..
@@CarSauce My truck has a full Isuzu service history ...it’s not due it’s forth service till March 2021 or 48000 miles which ever comes first ..it only has 34 600 miles on the clock , has never towed , been off road or carried anything heavier than a wet lab ...Isuzu are basically saying tough luck ..

Why don't you put a load of timber beams in the back and tie it down, it doesn't look like its possible with the tub as is. how does it go with long loads? All these manufacturers have completely forgotten what purpose utes are supposed to be for. Zero stars
Please consider the editing of your videos. Cutting each sentence, removing the pause between each is tiring to listen to. Obviously you have a number of takes to get the content recorded, but this cropping of sentence pauses removes the ability of the listener to consider your thoughts. I wasn't able to watch the whole video, sadly.

In this company there is no customer service, the company's management does not care at all, if you have a problem or a malfunction, you can only pray to God there is a chance that the help will come faster.
