Hi Guys! Here's a link to some LED bulbs to brighten up your interior lights! -T10 LED wedge Interior bulbs: amzn.to/3nmOH6X -31mm Festoon Interior bulbs: amzn.to/3cA7bed -T15 LED reverse light bulbs amzn.to/3oTfjfB - small screwdriver kit for popping out bulb covers amzn.to/30Gp9sO Cheers guys! 😊
Hi Nick, great video and site for all MUX's liked your harrop e locker as well. on the interior light upgrade which i have utilised I found it easier to remove the boot and 2 second row lights completely as they have the same spring clip as the front and then gently prise the reflectors out from back by unclipping and pushing down hard.
Hi Nick, I have a dmax and for the front interior lights, I actually remove the covers and use a long nose pliers with sticky tape to remove the original lights. I do not remove the whole assembly
Hey there! The Front 2 interior lights and the 2 number plate lights are T10 Bulbs, the 2 Reverse lights are T15 and the 3 rear interior lights are 31mm festoon bulbs. :)
Haha man I’ve bought the exact same ones for the reverse lights but they’re just too lose. I’ve actually just dropped one into the reverse light as it just fell out of the fitting. 🤔😁
Hi, Nick! thanks for all the great videos on the MU-X! have you had the opportunity to change the Flasher Relay to accommodate LED turn signal bulbs without using resistors?
How about headlight did you changed already to after market led or projector headlight?im planning to change to projector headlights any idea what serial number exact i need to buy.thanks mate
In my Magna, the LEDs continue to emit light at a very low level when they are configured to turn on with any door opening which is really annoying. Did you get this effect Nick?
@@jenosilagan923 Ahh ok, i think you get to it through the boot. So open the boot and take the plastic boot cover trim off. I think theres a few bolts holding it in.
I hate how weak the stock lighting is, it's nearly useless. Where did you get the globes and which exactly do I need? Don't have Facebook for the competition sorry mate
Mate another great how to vid. Now just incase I dont win the new LED replacements (nudge nudge wink wink LOL) could you tell me exactly what size bulbs they were. And just lastly. With the festoon bulbs, you mentioned that you tweeked the clips a little. Was this because the new LED festoons are slightly smaller in diameter on the contact ends? Cheers Craig
Haha 😉 Thanks alot. The Front 2 interior lights and the 2 number plate lights are T10 Bulbs, the 2 Reverse lights are T15 and the 3 rear interior lights are 31mm festoon bulbs. The little contacts in the bulb holder just need to be tightened a little bit because the leds have a slightly smaller contact. 😊👍
