G'day Guys and Gals!
In this video I show you just how easy it is to replace the factory fuel filter on your Isuzu Mu-X or D-Max.
Replacing the Fuel filter on your vehicle is a very important for keeping the fuel system in your vehicle in tip top condition. Using a high quality genuine fuel filter or high quality aftermarket fuel filter you will maintain the fuel system to its highest standard. Using some basic hand tools you can easily change the factory fuel filter in under 30 minutes.
I show you all the parts necessary to carry out the job and also the tools necessary.
It is a simple job that requires only a flat blade screw driver to carry out.
After I remove the filter I show you how to clean out the fuel filter bowl and replace the 'O' Ring seal.
After I complete the job I use some Lucas fuel injector cleaner and fuel conditioner to look after the Diesel in the tank and help lubricate the fuel system.

Thanks Nick - great video!! The fuel filter light has come on on my MUX mainly when going up a hill or accelerating. I will replace the fuel filter and think I could do this myself after watching your vid. Top notch.

HOT TIP: Make sure you lubricate (spit) the o-ring really well before trying to reassemble the housing otherwise its very difficult to screw it back together. I learnt this the hard way haha. Thanks so much for the video. Just did it for the first time!

Thanks a lot for the vid, that was easy to follow and was very clear and informative. I knew it wasn't going to be too difficult once I saw it's location, but I appreciated seeing exactly how the clips came undone and how to lift it off its bracket, that saved me a bit of stuffing around.
