Thank you for the video, I have a 2016 npr-hd with a u2202 code and limps at 55mph. I believe code is not communicating with DEF module. Any ideas? Reflash?
I had the same issue. If there are no codes, you can force the truck through a regen and it will automatically clear the derate and red exhaust system light. No need for a reflash most of the time. Edit: If it fails out of regen, the codes will come back.
Hi ,very helpfull video , iam a mechanic and i have the same problem on a 2015 NRR ,I had a code for def injector with 3 codes on mimamori module just like you , injector code is gone but the 3 on mimamori wont erase and truck still on limp mode !!! Do you think it need reflashing ??
Hello, I have the same problem in my 2015 NQR. I saw this video and another video from you where you replaced a injector on the DPF. I don’t have the computer but the symptom is the same. I have the same lights on and the same beeping noise. What can I do??
My 2017 Hino 268A Is displaying the check engine light and also the SVS light sometimes. The truck looses speed and power when the SVS light comes on. Pienso es un problema electrico. Cual es tu opinion ? Podrias diagnosticar mi camion ? GRACIAS !!

YOU ARE GOOD!!! I changed one of the two NOX SENSOR which cost me $588.00 and the SVS light and problem went away, my truck is running strong again ! Also the check engine light went away after running the truck for about 400 miles. THANK YOU very much for your diagnose on my truck ! I have an 06 GMC T7500 with 7.8 Isuzu 6hk1. The truck would not rev up past 1000 rpm and it was the ecm. I took the ecm to a guy who has IDSS and he plugged it on a similar truck to test it and supposedly reprogram it. He said he did reprogram it but the ecm was the same. So, I had to buy a new one and the same guy programed it. This time I saw him do it. I installed the new ecm on my truck and it worked fine for a week but the problem has returned. No revving past 1000 rpm. The only thing in common that I have done is checked the injector contribution balance with a Launch x431 pad III scanner and coincidentally that's when the problems have happened to both ecms. The question now, do you think reprogramming the ecms it's all that may be needed and I shouldn't have had to buy a new one? And also, is the Launch scanner corrupting the program?
Well any reprogram with different than idds will damage the ecm like Water damage: Control Modules are loaded with electronic components and other sensitive parts; once it becomes wet, it can become inoperable. ... ECU could be fried by over voltage, reverse voltage etc. It's better to check any additional modules or scanner aftermarket is installed in the truck will cause the ecm to go bad before u putting new ecm check everything most likely u need new ecm but get the person who can deal with truck or simply buy new ecm and take the truck to the near dealer and get the right reprogram..

No, I didn't try to reprogram with the Launch scanner, I was just checking the injectors with the enable and disable functions on the power contribution balance feature. After that the original ecm started not wanting to rev past 1000 rpm but all parameters checked ok. All three accelerator sensor voltages were normal, fuel rail pressure normal, cpk, cam sensor were fine. No codes on any other module. So, I took the ecm to this Isuzu guy who tried it on another truck and same thing was happening. He said he tried reflashing it with IDSS but no improvement ( I didn't see him do it) so he said the ecm is bad. I couldn't find a used one so I had to buy the new one ( $4350.00 ). So, I brought the new blank ecm to him and he programed in that other truck but he used my injector codes and entered my VIN #. I installed the new ecm and the truck drove without issues for 7 days until I went and checked the data stream and injector contribution wirh Launch scanner again and the new computer started doing the same thing again. I can't believe the ecm would fry and be able to start the truck but not rev up. At least there should be a dtc, don't you think? I have read online of 2 other cases same as mine but unfortunately, the guys who posted the problems did not give any conclusion of what had happened.
@@truck_diagnostic expensive, eh? By the way, I had the new ecm reprogrammed again and still the same issue. I have given it to the dealer which is going to send it to isuzu to be checked and hopefully replaced or repaired and perhaps they'll tell me what is failing so at least I have an idea of where to look on my truck. It's a real puzzle for there are no codes.
