I have reactions coming to all three (that I know of) songs that she did with DeadSquad and one on her own, followed by likely more of hers. She should be a national treasure. I am loving her so far!

I was wondering why two Indonesian artists chose an Italian word for the song title. The lyrical singing at the beginning was sufficiently explanatory. I don't know if the lyrical/death metal fusion is new (I don't think so) as far as they can correctly represent the chaotic progress of the dream (il Sogno). I guess they're both good musicians but it's not for me.
Isyana actually grew up in different parts of the world e.g. Indonesia, Belgium, Singapore, the UK to name some of them and she has a master in classical music degree. She also has performed with an opera where she had to sing some classic Italian operatic songs. So, I guess, she's been influenced by so many things as parts of her personal life journey and Italian, the language, could happen to be one of them.
