Hello from the heart of Amish country in Lancaster PA! My husband has set foot in the local quilt shop only once since I started quilting long ago, so your husband is a gem for wanting to bring you to quilt shops wherever he was in PA. Enjoy your time when you visit.
Thanks Alicia. Your prayers at the start were so beautiful. I lost my mom to early onset Alzheimer's almost 40 years ago. It is so true that you lose them twice. Sending hugs and thanks for your joy and sparkle!
Girl, you're on your way to being a quilter - you know how to do the shopping!! Jelly Roll quilts usually are sinple &go together quickly!! You are inspiring me to tackle my "Need to FFO" box - it's getting very full!!
Great to see your beautiful, smiling face! Loved your FFO’s, FO and that beautiful piece you are working on! Would love a tour of the studio, when finished! I am so thankful to have you as a friend! Glad all are doing well and enjoying life!
My mom has late stage Alzheimer’s and it has been so hard, thank you for highlighting this horrible disease that is the longest goodbye and a constant emotional roller coaster.
So happy to see you again!!! Happy to hear your son is a bowler, 2 of my grandsons, ages 13 and 11, are in a bowling league!! You sure have been productive with all those FFO's and FO's!!! Nothing like a clean craftroom to inspire and spark more productivity!! Thankful for pumpkin and pumpkin row, you are too kind!!❤
Beautiful finishes, can't wait to see the completed craft room. I love watching your videos, so much Joy and beautiful Spirit. Thankful, Pumpkin, pumpkin row
Another great Flosstube, Alicia! Love your opening prayer! Thankful, square dance, pumpkin, pumpkin row. Have a wonderful two weeks and happy stitching!
You’ve been a beading fool! Your FFO’s are beautiful, friend. Loved seeing your quilting purchases also-welcome to the rabbit hole! I’ll name my private island after you! 😂
Great video, I had to pause it because you reminded me I needed to order the Sampler Box with Annie's chart! Lancaster is only about and hour and half from me! If your husband and son like trains the Strasburg Railroad has steam trains to ride through the countryside and the Railroad Museum of PA and the National Toy Train Museum are also right there in Ronks. Two cross stitch shops I'd like to go out and visit one day are Stitches Unlimited and Hodge Podge if you're looking to visit more than quilt shops. Have fun! ~ Melanie
Love your videos and your stories about how your husband loves you and needs to step outside to take deep breaths😊.however he adds to your craft room buying you a jelly roll and is willing to take you places to add to it😊
Another great video, Alicia. I’m putting on the binding on a baby quilt for grand #5. 🩷 And crocheting a hat for another grand’s birthday. So much fun. I’ve been stitching a 2-3 days on each of my fall WIPS. I have enough of them for all of October and November. 😂 FYI, FQS has books by Its Sew Emma of quilt patterns for both jelly rolls and layer cakes. I can’t wait to see your quilts once you get started.
Love your floss tubes and I always look forward to them. An idea to look at for your beautiful layer cake would be Shabby Fabric’s Easy As ABC and 123 quilt pattern. It’s a beautiful pattern. I hope you can take a look at it. Prayers for you and your family.
Beautiful finishes, you have been very busy! Isn’t it the truth that we have so much to be thankful for? I love JBW and her alphabet charts - I have a few of those but not the Pumpkin one. The Pumpkin Row looks like a lot of fun to stitch. I have not yet tried the Square Dance patterns, although I do like a lot of them. My partner would love me to stitch the Resurrection chart - he’d get a kick out of the skeleton walking the skeleton dog!
@@thefancifulflamingo Oh nice, that will be coming quick. Lancaster Home & Fabric, on Brubaker Valley Rd., Lititz, is 2 big floors of fabric goodness. The Old Country Store in Intercourse, PA is a busier shop being in the heart of the tourism area, but great fabrics.
