I recommend you to ride an average 20-30kmph slower than you do now. For your own safety. Myself had done over 1 lakh kms on bikes in India, sometimes it may not be your mistake, but you can fall in big trouble. Animals, people taking u turns carelessly, pedestrians, cycles
We have an Indian brand called ultraviolet who makes amazing electric bikes. U can check those bikes... it's not like we Indians haven't seen a bike like yours...we also manufacture such bikes. ❤️
@@MarcTravels Ignore the trolls and enjoy you ride. I dont think my country is weak that we cant take a bit of criticism. I am in Trivandrum, Kerala. Enjoyed your Varkala and Munnar content. Had rode my mountain bike in both places. It was awesome to see you handle the heat. We had a really hot summer this year. The rains are coming though.. Get ready for it! Thunderstorms and heavy rains are part of the April/June time here.
Bro, you've never been to the real North. The true North of India is Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. If you want to see more green places with amazing waterfalls in India, then head to Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Meghalaya, Mizoram, West Bengal, and Assam.
@@akempire7918 its a beautiful place i'm not surprised... north india is beautiful, but south is so much more welcoming and gives you the feel-good factor additionally
Found you on RU-vid while surfing randomly. It’s has been a pleasurable experience ever since watching your videos. It will be wonderful to see you strumming your guitar sometimes. ❤
You are doing a good job, there will always be comments that discourage you. Sometimes they do it for no reason just to get attention.I lived my whole life in India before i moved to Germany but after seeing you i want to travel India when i go back. Enjoy man.Ciao
Very energetic! You seemed really pumped throughout this adventure. What a great experience. And it’s so cool that you get to care for Loki! Ride safe. Ride smart. Have fun!
Hi Mark 77 year old Brit loving your videos I ride a CRF300L only a fraction of Eves power I’ve ridden big sports bikes in the past The Honda is enough now for an old geezer like me Safe travels All the best Alan
30:08 You are on National Highway - 66 (NH 66). The highway connects the entirety of the state of Kerala, North to South; meant to connect Vizhinjam transshipment port to the rest of the country; rivalling Singapore if it hits its potential & develops. Hence, the highway is being expanded from just a mere 2 - lane to a 8 - lane highway; followed by all the traffic and commotion due to construction; its basically being built from scratch; a massive infrastructural upgrade. So, its better to take parallel roads like State Highway - 66, state highway 40 or the seaside highway (its scenic and its nowhere near crowded) when you are going from Southern Kerala to Kochi. The 4.5 hr ride will come down to 1.5 hrs when the road's finished. Google Maps ain't reliable when it comes to alternate routes. Take it from a local!! The buildings being demolished to make way for the road and earth being moved a lot by excavators makes the environment dusty and unpleasant. Safe Journey !!
you should never interrupt 'firmware' upgrades (they can be slow & appear to be doing nothing). If anything like computers it can turn it into a useless 'brick' & require a new motherboard.
Hey Mark, inspired by you I bought Harley Davidson X440, now I am going to live my dreams and travel like you bro. Thanks for your inspiration, Love you .
Hey there! Having crossed Iran, Pakistan, and finally reaching India, that's quite the journey! It would be amazing if you could share a video about your experiences in both Pakistan and India. It would be fascinating to hear your thoughts on the similarities and differences between the two countries, along with any challenges you faced along the way.
@@MarcTravels Awesome video as always. One thing on a lighter note the car which was in front of you from 21.41 to 21.52 is a 5 seater electric car from Tata called Nexon EV which is 4.5 to 5 star on safety rating in Euro NCAP which comes with a 300 to 350 Km real world range and in India it cost from USD 17000 to USD 23000 and the car which was behind you from 31.52 to 31.55 is a 5 seater model with around 230 to 270 Km range with same sort of Euro Ncap rating which is called Tata Tiago EV which comes from USD 10000 to USD 14000. And these are reliable no nonsense car. Best wishes for your journey.
Great Video, again! Thx! But so many people and so much Traffic and noise! Would Drive me crazy. Guess u have get used to it...Cheers! All the best from Franconia.😊👍🏻🙋🏻♂️
BTW, since you are a German, you need to know this. Kerala is one of the few states in India that has mad football fans. Probably, they follow all euro games.
@MarcTravels ..I know you'll never part with eve Marc..she's a special part in your life and maybe some day you can pass her on to the next generation 👍👍👍
Energica is planning to launch in India for the last 3 years...They want to have perfect launch without compromise in quality. I guess with your videos, they are getting the perfect advertisement. Would love to own one ❤
@@RPRosen-ki2fkfun fact, Energica would have been my first choice but it wasn’t available to me and also they released their Experia the day I bought eve😅 (also they never replied to my email when I reached out;)) would love to have a go on one of these bikes one day 🙌🏼
Marc, talking about something ur not happy is OK.... BUT u do carry on and on and on, but still good to watch and enjoying your adventures. Good luck. 😊
Yeahhhh❤❤ finally got to watch a tiny bit of Kochi in your video 😊😊😊. My home town. Cant count how many times I used those roads … and yes that manic traffic 😝. I miss my home … watching your videos bringing me all those good old memories… Me and my twin bro and friends used to hangout in Kochi like its our backyard. There are quite a few things to see..especially if you travel towards the costal side. Also try some seafood. If you get some time watch few regional movies. I can recommend’Goat life’. People say it might get nominated for the foreign film entry for Oscar from India. ( its that good)Take care and thanks for the video. കൊച്ചി 👌👌🫶🫶❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
Hey Marc I’ve been watching your videos for a while and I just love them, keep up the good work. I just wanted to ask you if possible can you mention other creators you meet along the way ? I’ve been trying to find a Chanel for Julia, Ben and Loki for a while now with no luck. I don’t know if they have a channel either. Same with the guy you met a few videos back who hitch hikes. If they do can you please mention them thanks !!
There are caravan parks now in Kerala where such trucks can be parked with provision of electricity water etc. Information can be obtained from the Kerala tourism website
Incredible! :D Also nice to see more EVs in southern India as well! India is your little breakthrough I guess :D Reaching 170k now! Really happy for you! Also I am thinking about getting the A license for myself and getting a bigger bike and I saw that "Eve"s are actually pretty affordable on the used market. Around 13k for 2019 or 2020 models. Looking forward to a Loki video as well ❤
Duuude what an awesome episode. Pardon me, but this blonde lassie was picking up on you? Nevermind, I just enjoy so much you living your dream! North And South is always different, but you know that better than me. Greetings to all the crew of the truck, including the doggo! Be safe man!
Big fan. If you ever get to the “new world” and want to build a support network in the Americas I’m here for you. I’m in Ecuador with a location in Quito and another in rural Ecuador.
We ain't buying it if it asks money for basic amenities that's already in the vehicle. India's consumer laws are consumer-friendly, companies can't pull such things off that easily. Like 95% of the EVs in India are local made and are from local brands, they are forced to appeal the Indian market and laws so.....
True because most foreigners travel to places like Delhi , UP , jaipur , rajasthan and all where the population density is very very high causing a suffocative feeling at some point. But they'll choose those places coz they have monuments and all but to enjoy life and ride peacefully the places u mentioned above are truly best
Really liked this video, it was a bit different then the normal 'riding' video. It was more combined with you having fun.🎉 Real nice to see. Glad you made so much friends and see you happy. Hope one day you gonna play the guitar in one of your videos, that would be cool❤
Sunshine has a positive effect on the mental health. You must be feeling naturally happy and content if though the summer heat may be making you uncomfortable.
I wasn't worried though, I mean, you've often said you'd buy an Enfield if Eve broke down, so she's behaved herself pretty well so far. Hehe, and that scooter seemed to be pretty quick too! But that change from crazy city traffic to quiet little country roads was actually blissful! 🥰 Can't wait to see what Loki and you get up to, he's a sweet pup!!
Ich hatte mich schon des Öfteren gefragt, ob du nicht deine Gitarre vermisst. Offensichtlich lag ich gar nicht so falsch. Freue mich auf das ein oder andere Ständchen.
Finally a new content from "Marc Travels"! 👍 Hey, man, I'm new to your channel and I'm really looking forward to your future content. 😄 By the way, have a great trip!
Hey buddy hope u realized that u have hit the gold mine of youtube( india )Hope u can crank outmore videos sooner. In my opinion It will be a gud time for u to get an editor. It'll surely ezz your job. Anyways keep up the good work. Love it❤
I dont think he can do it since he edits and shoots this video by himself. So he has to put out more videos he has to spend more time indoors editing rather than going out and seeing the places he visit.
Enjoyed your video once again. Hope to see a vid while you were doggy-sitting. What is strange is that they didn't upload anything since then. You didn't destroy their truck? 🤣🤣
I own an Ather even though I am not a fan of scooters, because it's the only good quality electric 2w that rides like a motorcycle. The throttle response, acceleration, software and overall premiumness is really something. Underneath it's a complete aluminum hybrid frame that gives it the sportyness and ride quality it has. I knew it was just a matter of time before Marc would try one of these.
Once a wise man said "never sit on another man's bike", was only kidding😂😂, great ride mark I can see you love to get the torque expression of your fellow hostel pillions😊
Hey Marc, There's some really cool food spots in Kochi.. (if you're still in Kochi) .. Well.. If you're into burgers.. I'd recommend 'The Burger Junction' .. they do have one outlet right past the Lulu Mall which you happened to pass by.. Or if you don't wanna leave Loki alone you could utilise Zomato/Swiggy (food delivery) to your place and pay via UPI or something .. just a suggestion👀.
Stil loving the content. I'm a grumpy old bustard anyway so don't notice eveb if you are complaining. Just traded my AT for the 759 hornet and loving it. So much better being on the naked bike. Looking forward to more content soon. Stay safe
Indoscoot is pretty cool. Worth to buy probably. Your update reminds me about firmware update I did on the phone on the first day after buying. I almost bricked it and had to take to the repair shop.
The firmware update was scary. Imagine going through some remote mountain area and suddenly the bike stops with this message. Thank god you dont have to update like windows else it would be "your subscription has expired please renew to use the services"😂😂. Anyway have fun and stay safe.
