Lara did such an amazing job portraying what a woman/wife feels losing a baby. Both Eden and Simon were so real. The Chosen is touching so many lives.

My husband and I had our 4th miscarriage during watching season 3 of the Chosen. Eden and Simon mirrored us in the moment perfectly and it helped us get through it. Also if you’re married do not wait for your husband to ask you, he may not right them. He cannot read your mind so be open and communicate

Her scene broke the Internet and me. I've never experienced a miscarriage, but I know some who have. Bless your heart for giving a voice to those who have been through that situation.

Lara you were amazing in episode 7 and 8 so true to how that actually feels! My heart broke for You and Simon I cried and cried, and then cried again when you were both healed by God. You both understood trials and tribulations will still be with you, but your reward with Christ is far greater! God bless you all 🙏 🕊 🕯 🤍 I can't wait for season 4!!

Lara really did an outstanding job on this! Decades ago I had two miscarriages and I saw myself in her portrayal!! I also saw myself in Veronica the woman with the issue of blood!! I went through it all and of course I dealt with these experiences alone with no love from my ex husband or family. But I had Jesus and the Gospel to help me through it all!! There are so many women in this world that went through it too. I'm so grateful that The Chosen does it well through Scripture and the back stories so others can be healed too and come to Jesus!! Outstanding job on the actors and the script Dallas!! I look forward to seeing Season four!! 🙏

Lara. I love the fact that you spoke of realizing your need to pray to do all that was going on with Eden. Dependence upon the one who gave you this part, and the gift of acting, is most assuredly a breath of fresh air. Humbling yourself before your creator and acknowledging your need was wonderful to hear. It's so obvious, to me, how deeply this affected you emotionally. Thank you for acknowledging your need.

Lara is fantastic. She did such an incredible and beautiful job portraying something that millions of women are unable to give voice to. I am a grief counselor, and there are so many women who experience this disenfranchised grief. My hope is that by seeing this so honestly and vulnerably portrayed that perhaps it will allow women and others to be able to speak about this pain in their lives. It is not something that we just get over and move on from easily. Thank you so much for this season!

Season 3 touched me in a very personal way. I am a mother of 11, 9 angel babies and 2 children whom made it to term. While watching the Season finale I was able to find some peace with knowing that God never abandoned me when I needed Him the most. Lara you did such a good job portraying a grieving mother and wife thank you and God Bless

Lara you are a fantastic actress. The interaction between Eden and Simon is just so great to see. I love that she said that she prayed about that scene. You could just see the pain in both of them. Thank you Dallas and all the great actors for giving us the best show ever.

Yes, I have been through it too. The pain can overwhelm you if it weren't for the One who wipes away all tears and gives us hope and strength. And love. I'm feeling so blessed that I was able to have two more children after our loss. Lara, you were and are amazing portraying Eden, in every way. Thank you. It really spoke to me 🙏

I have loved watching the character of Eden, precious.. The miscarriage broke my heart. I could really relate. Also to the feeling of being left out- when at the river where the guys were in the water playing, Mary and the other woman watching and in the background, alone, was Eden. These stories are portrayed so well. It is awesome. Thank you all for hard work and dedication.

During season three, I felt so sad for Eden:( just because the pain she was going through when Simon was away. but when she told him my heart broke for the both of them💔 but that last episode when Jesus helped Simon and Eden that made me so happy🥹❤

I love how the religious leader met her in her pain & gave her verses to express her grief and anger. So often we are given counsel that gives the message "be strong"- "be grateful".

I always find Lara very captivating to watch. It's so true that hurting people, hurt people. They tend to project their unaddressed issues onto other people...dumping their garbage. So important to do our homework with the Holy Spirit. The tough Eden and Simon scenes are great "cautionary tales." ❤️ 🌼

I honestly believe that THE CHOSEN has sparked a hunger for the things of God, particularly Jesus Christ. You have made Him and the others come to life for so many who are unfamiliar with His Gospel. I also believe The Chose has played a huge part in what is happening around America with the various revivals we are seeing breaking out in colleges and in some churches! Please, keep doing what you are doing and keep praying the Holy Spirit leads and guides you. As you know, the enemy will be after you to give up and put roadblocks in your way. I love you all and am praying for you!

Thank you for not sugar-coating the serious challenges/difficulties that even the BEST marriages can and probably will face. To have painted it as "near-perfect" would've (imo) damaged the perception/credibility of the show.

As a military spouse, I fully relate to Eden!! Deployment, tdy, important missions, stressful job, and I'm left behind to feel unimportant while also having the expectations to hold down the fort and keep everything running smoothly. It's hard to break when the time is right for it bc you have to be strong and alone when they are gone.

I love Eden, she is amazing. She did a great job with the intense scene of the miscarriage. I have had that experience & my baby would have been 29 years this year. She did portrait the feelings & the aftermath of having lost a child. You don’t ever forget that no matter how many days, months or even years. After seeing this review, and to know she’s not experienced this but have read/heard stories she made it very real on the screen. Well done! Well done!

My husband and I bawled watching the last few episodes of season 3; he felt so seen as a father grieving the loss of a child, and Eden’s anger at both Simon and honestly at God was so raw and real to me that it made me realize how much anger I still held. Since the last episode, I have been able to walk through some deep healing with God, and while we still grieve the four we’ve lost, I no longer walk as wounded in my spirit. Thank you all for what you are doing!

She did a spectacular job with the things Eden was put through in season 3. Eden is one of my favorite characters, I'm excited to see what is next for her. I love seeing a representation of a marriage that shows faithfulness and devotion even in times of hardship and pain. As for what's next, I do hope that maybe she and Simon could have the child they wish they could have. I know Simon told John that Eden might not be able to ever have a baby after the miscarriage, but who knows? Anything's possible.

I love love love that The Chosen doesn't shy away from the really tough situations, thoughts and questions. Which in turn sheds light on so many untold stories. The LORD finds a way through the show. In the big miracles, and day to day struggles. It's truly remarkable to witness and be blessed by.

Lara is an amazing actor. The ending of The finale episode is one of my new favorite moments in the series. Eden and Simon are one of my favorites

As a couple who struggled with fertility issues including some traumatic experiences.....the emotional portrayal of the two characters is spot on. The frustration and anger directed at nobody, but manifesting as turmoil between the couple. The difficulty in talking about it with each other. Not wanting your partner to be upset and not wanting to feel like the reason they're upset, even though you didn't so anything wrong. But the pain being even worse because of the magnitude of the love between you. I've personally been in the situation that Simon and Eden are in, and the scenes felt too real.

Such a powerful scene. I can relate in having miscarriages (3x). Now that I have 3 healthy grown boys, the more blessed I feel. They have their own guardian angels.

First wanted to thank everyone on this miracle production of "the chosen" it has changed my life especially touching healing miracles that the savior performed. I'm a stroke survivor of three years and I've carried a heavy burden in my soul because I really believed that I could be healed through faith and it didn't work out so it made me bitter, anger and depressed, when started watching the chosen it touched me in a way that led me soften my heart and change that view of my life, especially in was the episode where Jesus came into Eden’s household and her mother was very ill and when he touched her he said "leave her" meaning the disease was now being cast out and that word leave I put into my mind and I said let all this darkness leave me let me turn towards the light of Christ so that I can be healed from my bitterness and my depression. I can't thank the cast and the crew enough because having this miracle at this time in my life. It's amazing the work the Eden does and the emotion that she portrays what a marvelous job Eden makes everything she's going through the emotion and love and tenderness seems so real. Another scene that touched me when her husband came home and she was walking on the grapes, that was such an affectionate scene because my stroke has put a burden on my marriage and I'm trying to rebuild that now all I can say is for the blessing thank you thank you thank you!

It’s nice to hear an actress that is humble and doesn’t have that ego so many do.

Lara, you did an amazing job. Yet what I loved most about Eden was the last episode when she was in the pool cleansing and praying, not knowing what Simmon was going through.

I have never lost a child, but I have had a similar situation in the sense that God gave us a challenged child. And I found out unexpectedly, whereas my wife had known for a bit (but chose to not tell me when I was deployed). When I got home, she was angry and upset and it took me a really really long time to figure out what was wrong. And the differences between men and women played a huge part ( as it did in the show) in how we communicated.

Eden is 1 of my favs! I pretty much cry every episode, good tears, sad ones, but I hard cried the second I saw Eden in pain. I've never been through that, but know women who have & I can't even imagine the pain of that loss. Lara did such an amazing job! I hope to see more of Lara/Eden next season!🫰🙏💜

I have 1 daughter pregnant and 2 grand daughters were pregnant. Last week my one grand daughter had a miscarriage at 7 weeks. When I saw Lara's pain I felt terrible for my grand daughter because her cousin and aunt were about to have babies and it must be awful like it was for Simon's wife to see other women healed. It hurt me to feel their pain. This was amazing to hear her story.

Thank you for the portrayal of what couples go through. God has us look beyond ourselves and see God working for our completeness and His glory.

I almost came out of my chair when I realized it was Eden having a miscarriage - I said out loud, "Oh honey, NOOOOOO!" and began to weep. My heart broke - I went through this 31 years ago with an emergency surgery. You performed a beautiful piece of work, Lara.

Marriage is beautiful and wonderful, but it is a lot of blood, sweat, and tears. Hard Work! No doubt, well worth everything it takes.

I love how she says you are not the man I married..right now. She is suffering and trying to support her husband and with her strong belief in Jesus and this time of their lives, she draws you in and is comforting him as she reveals this family tragedy. 😢 amazing how much love they show for each other❤ Thank you for embracing this role. Lara’s performance was really moving and heart wrenching. I miscarried our second baby. I was 23, and I remember feeling numb, sorta like I was in a daze, just going through the motions, taking care of our two year old, housework, and cooking for my husband. It was a very hollo feeling, even though I knew the Lord, and knew he was in control. It really does happen so often, but you really don’t talk about it much. I so enjoy this show for many many reasons, but one is, it shows that the 🙏disciples and the first believers, were human, and still had a life, with real human feelings and situations. The show makes them like 3D, and so relatable. Heartfelt thanks and love to Dallas, the writers, pro, actors, and each and everyone who is involved in making this wonderful show. May He be glorified!❤️✝️

The emotion and vulnerability she showed towards the end of this video was so beautiful. You can tell that this has truly touched her, as it has with so many of us out there. This cast is amazing and it’s such a beautiful thing what they are doing to showcase God and the Bible and share the word of God from a different perspective so that even people who don’t have faith in Him can see His work and maybe change their minds on what it truly is to believe in God.
