In celebration of our wedding anniversary, we wanted to share what it was like to fall in love and seal the deal with a 💍 (her ring actually looks like this emoji!).
July is a special month for Keisha, not only is it the month we got married, but it’s also her bday month!

Great to hear your story. I have been married to an (Fiji) Indian guy for 8yrs. I am from 2 different countries in the South Pacific, & have all the mixtures of Polynesia, Melanesia & Micronesia in me. I feel your love story so much especially how you were hesitatent to 'betray' your race. I dated a non black man who I truly believe to this day was one of the nicest people I have ever met, but I ended it instead married a blk man and 20 abusive, (him)cheating, and v difficult years later, I honestly don't know if I made the right decision I don't want to bash bm, I still believe in black love and I'm so glad I got to explore my pro black phase but I just think we are a very damaged people and we need to heal, so it's going to be v hard to find(black love)either way ladies listen to your heart (that is your true self ) it knows more than you, what you need🙏❤
