It appears that there was a huge coalition of Democrats, even those with differing opinions than him, still putting their hat in for him. 👏💪

Nancy Pelosi also wanted Walz. That's the thing about him--he's extremely qualified & also has broad appeal across a wide political spectrum. This ticket is gonna unify & energize Dem voters, & pull in sufficient reluctantly-Dem voters as well.

It's true. Kamala Harris was a good addition to the Biden Ticket and Tim Walz is a good pick for the Harris Ticket. Trump had 4 years as President already, Walz has a great record for both the economy and the people of Minnesota. Joe Biden was a surprisingly Progressive President. When people ask themselves about the past 8 years before they go to Vote, they will find that they have more in common with Harris/Walz than with Trump/Vance. Racism can only carry a candidate so far before people start to ask about their own situation and whether it has to do with brown people or with policies from a political party. I think that many Voters will decide that, with Harris/Walz the economy will strengthen, our infrastructure will continue to (finally) get the attention it has needed for decades, that rich people and our largest corporations can afford to pay Taxes like everyone else and that the working class deserves to have a bright future.

My strongest notions of her are still informed by the 2020 primary, where she flip-flopped away from progressive policies and positions. However, AFAIK, she's nixed dumping Khan, so that's yet another hopeful sign. I guess we'll see.
