Can totally relate, my 3rd baby was very unsettled, cried constantly, wouldn’t take to breastfeeding, (the other two did) she was grizzling all the time, wouldn’t sleep (my ex and me used to take it in turns holding her) as she wouldn’t be put down without screaming. Even the usual taking her for a drive in the car didn’t settle her, we tried everything. Whatever we tried, didn’t work. Once we drove 2 and a half hrs away to visit my mum and she only slept for the last 20mins, the rest of the journey she was screaming her head off. It was torture ! I remember going clothes shopping once with her, and I just gave up and ended up in tears because she wouldn’t stop screaming , it was so embarrassing. Also, in public, people (usually the older generation) used to say “aww poor thing, is she hungry?” It used to drive me mad 😡 when I’d been asked this one too many times on a trip into town, I said “no she isn’t, she’s just always this miserable” the woman’s face 😮😂ha ! She was also very fussy when weaning and would survive on yoghurt, cheese spread sandwiches and wotsits , at one point as a toddler and it didn’t end at terrible twos, she was very naughty and didn’t sleep well/potty training was a nightmare etc. when me and her dad split, when she was 6. She changed a bit, for the better. I think my ex giving in and not having the same way of disciplining her as me, and over ruling what I’d said to her , didn’t help and left her confused. When we split, because I was the stricter of us, she wasn’t as badly behaved. hopefully Jesse won’t be the same though, she was just the devils child ! She’s 21 now , still pretty fussy with her food and got daddy under her thumb 😂 you hear people say, if I’d had them first, I wouldn’t have had anymore , I used to laugh at this but now I totally get it, because I wouldn’t have had any more if she was my first x

I can relate so so so so much!!! Thank you for reaching out!! This is exactly why I’m open and honest because I know it isn’t just me!! Your words have provided me some comfort!! But I had the same experience in Aldi a few days ago had to abort my shopping half way round - an older lady did the same and I just burst into tears! But I don’t think others mean harm it’s just no one likes to see a baby cry! It’s hard isn’t it so I’m so glad you get it! He for sure is ‘A LOT’ but wouldn’t change him for the world it’s a catch 22 isn’t it!! Thank you soo much for this comment and sharing your story!

@@Realmumsclub you’re welcome. Yes, I totally get it. It’s refreshing when people actually admit on their channels that they aren’t finding it easy. My first daughter was an angel, I had her when I was 21, I had my son when I was 24, and my youngest (the devil child) 😂 when I was 29. So the older two were 8 and 5 when she was born. What is the age gap between your 3 ? It kind of felt like starting over, even though it was 5 years, which isn’t a huge gap, but I felt out of practice with babies ha. Hope it gets easier soon and you don’t have as long a wait for that to happen, as I did 👿 😂 I really did struggle and with the older 2 aswell to cope with, it’s not easy x

Hi Chrissy thank you for sharing your thoughts and feeling with us. I came across a poem when my children were almost grown (they are 25 and 28 now) which really resonated with me. It is by Diana Loomans and is called ‘If I had my child to raise all over again …’ It really helped me to put into perspective what was important about bringing up children and what wasn’t. Worry about the cleaning later, all they need is love and to feel safe. Take care, love to all xxx

It’s tough isn’t it! I always think if this was my first baby .. I would think all babies are this way or that I was doing something really wrong. I had to speak out to normalise it for any mum going through similar x Thank you so much for being here xx the gratitude and your comments never go unnoticed

It is hard, but you do right talking about it and get it out. I didn't and now its coming out as anxiety and panic attacks mainly when I'm driving. If you don't get help it catches up with you at some point so well done you for getting this out there and I'm in the same boat as you and getting help finally. It's a life changer. Made me actually spend time on myself. Yes, it's true if you don't look after yourself, you can't be the mum you want to be. You just go through the motions and definitely relate to feeling hollow and empty inside.

Honestly I say this all the time! Try and make some time for you even if it’s just a hot bath and your favourite drink x Because if you don’t look after you how can you then look after anyone else! Easier said than done I know! But I hope you get some time xx So glad your getting some help panic attacks SUCK!! I’ve been there myself - crying in b&m carpark in my car feeling so so lost but I promise there is light at the end of the tunnel! Xx 😘 always here if you ever want to chat x
