It all STARTS with Jesus: MY MORNING ROUTINE 

What's up yall! Im finally getting settled into a schedule here in Texas where I can have a more set morning routine. But life always happens and sometimes it gets thrown off. Let me know what your routines are like or something you want to implement into yours!

Jesus is So Amazing

It was very hard to find a routine that worked for me up until a few years ago. I came across and app called "Through the Word," and I use it as my devo while I read. The app gives me motivation to keep learning because it breaks the context down enough to help me understand what I'm reading. I try to read a chapter a day, listen to the devo on the app, read the chapter again, journal, and then pray. I sincerely enjoy meeting with the Lord, and I love that He's eager to meet with us too! What a kind God we serve! Thanks for sharing your routine! Also, Phil Wickham is fantastic and that was my favorite song off that album too! Keep shining bright Grace!!

I am going through a really rough time in my junior year this year, and I just need prayers to continually to depend on God’s strength.

Started with Old Testament chapter by chapter. Routine is feeding the dogs, getting into my home office and read the Bible before starting the work day.

I love how encouraging and practical your videos are. I’ve been really struggling recently to get into the word and find a routine after I graduated grad school and moved on my own with a whole new schedule.

Good info. No matter how early i get up, my dog&cat get up too lol While walking my dog, i enjoy praying or listening to christian music. I try to make time for a devotion or reading my bible before my day gets busy Keeping my focus on Jesus thru out the day is my goal

Phil Wickham is one of my favorites, too. Worship music is all I listen to. I love how it brings me closer to God.

Great advice. I always recommend that people have an actual Bible and not use the one on their phone just because of the distractions. One tip for people who minds wander when you read. If this happens to you, try this. I have the Bible app open and to the same section that I am reading in my physical Bible and actually play the audio of it at the same time. In this way, I am not only getting the information through my eyes, but I am also getting it through my ears as well. Together it really seems to keep my mind focused better and I have found my retention is better also. Just thought I would share. Keep up the content.

I fall short too! But thankful for a renewal of my mind because of scripture! In Jeremiah today i read how obedience causes us to remember what God has already done for us. Love how you are pointing people to our Saviour

Christian Yoga with @YogaAbbey, Bible and prayer! I also love starting my day with worship music. My fave is Stefany Gretzinger or TAYA. Have you done the book study Women of the Word by Jen Wilkin? It teaches us how to study our Bible and it is LIFE CHANGING!

Great recommendations, Grace. I would also suggest taking a look at “The Bible Recap,” by Tara Leigh Cobble. She has a plan available online to read through the Bible in a year, but also does a daily RU-vid recap that helps point out some highlights & encourages you to find God in each reading.
