My brothers have been in help desk for awhile and I’m planning on starting soon too but I don’t want to stay in help desk for long. I want to become sys admin and network engineer eventually is that possible? It sounds like a lot of people get stuck in help desk position.

his whole channel is basically the roadmap already lol. go help desk first then look to transition from there.

conference events like bsides are ones targeted to cyber.

I use powershell in every job but that will depend on the job responsibilities.

@@dhanex That was my previous job for Sentinelone. I worked iam specific to their tools. That's different from regular iam stuff. I don't work there anymore.

Which is more interesting and challenging iam or soc analyst
