Just think, right at that time "Ocean Eyes" was blowing up, and in less than four months Billie would be on her way to international fame and popularity. What a difference a year can make, as we all know too well now. I wonder what the people who run LACC think of that now?
To answer your question, we thought she was so cool because Connor Franta added her song to one of his Spotify playlists, and later Halsey tweeted one of the Ocean Eyes lyrics (without tagging or crediting her, but still). Everyone was like "omg Billie you're so famous."
@@clairekim2525 I can relate to that, I went to high school with David Hasselhoff[he was called "Hoff", or "The Hoff" even back then]. He was in my class, and we were both in the school theater group. David was a swimmer[so the life guard role was a cinch for him], I was on the football team; so in a way, we were both 'gleeks'. No one had any idea Dave would become as famous as he did.
And image, only 3 years later she won 5 Grammys 😭💗 Just goes to show everything is possible, you can do everything you put your mind to! She was even just placed in the back there, and she has mentioned she was not progressing to the highest level in the choir....but yet she is now the only world known of the group! Meaning, it's more than just the perfect technique, her emotions as a solo artist, her one-of-a-kind life performances and her pure soul is a big part of her success.
many thanks for this beautiful song, for such a beautiful choreography and to such a brilliant teacher who is able to incite young people to such a performance
