Internet sleuths are picking apart the 'It Ends With Us' press tour, suspecting drama between stars Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni, who also directed the film, out in theaters now. Blake and 'It Ends With Us' author Colleen Hoover both seemingly unfollowed Justin on Instagram. The actor has also made few appearances with the larger cast and crew, who have largely avoided speaking about him in their interviews.

The insider claimed that Justin only focused on 'what he believed was the abusive male viewpoint' and had a very 'chauvinistic' approach to the topic. 'During scenes depicting abuse, Justin failed to consider Blake’s character’s perspective, instead focusing solely on what he believed was the abusive male viewpoint,' they said. 'His approach was very chauvinistic, creating a tense atmosphere on set.' The source claimed Justin was 'borderline abusive' on set, and said he 'almost became the character.' 'Justin almost became the character in the sense that some women on set felt he was borderline abusive to them and that he was unprofessional and unapologetic,' they said. 'Directing a film so serious and so important about domestic abuse without allowing the women to be included in this process is disturbing.' The insider alleged that the actor, who also served as director and producer, 'failed to recognize' both Blake and Colleen's roles as a fellow producer and writer. And they said he took it 'very personally' when the pair asked for some script rewrites. 'Without Colleen's book, none of this would have been possible,' they pointed out. 'Parts of the film were rewritten under the instruction of Colleen - they had to be. He took their script decisions very personally, even though they weren’t intended that way.' They said things only got worse once he began to feel 'ganged up on' by the women on set. 'His behavior extended beyond the main players,' the source continued. 'Once he felt ganged up on, he became even less empathetic. 'Now, he’s speaking praises, likely out of fear that they’ll call him out. He knows it’s coming and might try to blame his actions on being a method actor.' DailyMail.com has contacted representatives for Blake, Justin and Colleen for comment. @@serenitybeauty In fact, this novel itself is a romance novel,it uses the theme of domestic violence to enhance its depth. If you have read it, it is basically a story of self-discovery, If he want to seriously discuss domestic violence, director should use a more realistic and non commercial approach to filming, they should not even use Colleen's novel as an adaptation. The novel itself, the shooting scenes, the script are all too beautiful and too romance. And now when it comes to a promotion, it's not very convincing when the height is raised by Justin to this level. After all, it's just a love story. I like this book. In fact, I like the kind of "perfect" love described in the book. After you go through all the toughness, there will always be a man who is the most perfect one waiting for you unconditionally. If the issue is so serious, why do all the viewers eat popcorn to enjoy the movie?

I don't know why so many people seemingly blow smoke up Blake's behind. She was a mediocre actress on Gossip Girl and is still a mediocre actress. A big reason she's still even remotely relevant is because of Ryan, who I'm not crazy about either. This is my OPINION, and if you don't like it.....I don't know what to tell you. I don't know much about Justin, but if he was chosen to direct, act in, AND purchased the rights to the film, I don't know why Ryan would be involved in this film whatsoever. I’m guessing he must have been a REALLY BAD director and the longer it went on, the more Blake and the crew realized how crappy his directing was so since she’s also one of the producers (meaning her money and production company and future ability to secure financing to produce other movies after this movie is on the line), she staged some kind of coup and took over and basically tried to salvage whatever she could. It’s a sensitive time in the world - if it’s true that Justin was focusing more on the abusers mentality and trying to make the male abuser look like he’s as much of a victim as his actual female victim then idk how well that would go over in society and how that would do ratings wise. Anyways he’s saying she was a good director and some people are claiming the movie was good so who knows - maybe she made the right call.

He has said multiple times, if you even bother to search, that this story is simply about a women falling in love with an abuser, and to show that an abuser don’t always look like they are monster that can cause harm. He even mentioned that he had to partnered with Non profit organizations, mind you that were women that are expert on domestic violence to understand how the abuser, mostly being man can cause harm supposedly to the people they love. Also I think people will have to disagree about your hypothesis of Blake supposedly committing a coup to save the film from becoming crap. Because her actions throughout the press tour is showing the opposite, which is someone that cant lead because they don’t have the aptitude to talk about such a heavy topic like DV and seems tone deaf to the criticism people are throwing her way about the way she is marketing the film.

I do not believe believe for one second to the Justin Baldoni was being dismissive on set or anything and I think that because everything seemed OK up until May this more has to do with the promotion of the film. He is definitely promoting this film as being a more dramatic and darker film, dealing with very serious topics while everyone else has been going on these press tours with flowers and love and friendship and happiness, and really not allowing a whole lot of questions that Del into the darker themes. I really think that that’s part of where all of this came from is the fact that Blake as a producer Was flexing her muscles on this end and Justin says she’s ready to be a Director. He’s not trying to be a dick… He’s serious. She has a vision and she has things that she wants to do her way and that’s OK but he doesn’t have to agree with it either. I’m sad that , this has seem to be sort of a decisive moment in the film because no matter how much money they make who knows whether or not they’re going to make that sequel. I don’t know that you need to make a sequel but if they do, I do hope everybody comes back and I do hope that Blake ends up directing the film because I think that would also make for a very interesting POV . The movie is fantastic and clearly they were all working well together on set and Justin has a Sterling reputation as a Director and producer so I think some of this is also a little bit of the pot, but we shall see.

I don’t think she knows what a ‘movie producer’s’ role is. Apparently she took on the role of director as well 😩 From what I can tell, the producer organises people, locations etc, and not involved in the directing and creative aspect.

People just leave this ...no matter what you all say ..nothing will change...He is director and she is an actress..If she disagree with it she then should have not take that character, but instead why her by this director...yet she took it.By the way it is none of our business if the director leave the drama because he chose her when he knows she is married.. If he didn't chose her perhaps Ryan wouldn't involve. It is none of our business and I agree it is Justin's right to deserve credits but I think it is not right for Justin to chose her out of Ryan's involve as he Blake's husband has right to limit some scenes. I don't understand why sex shat scenes had to be include in Hollyweirdo..Hollyweird should stop love sex ,or porn sex...as a matter of fact I think sex or pornography should be trashed. I think this couple perhaps need to not sign any contracts or policies base of sex involvement films shat if they want their marriage longer..and for goodness sake their kids.

I think that Blake should not be hired for serious topic movies. She should stay in gossip, super heroes, and maybe light not intellectual themes. I call it mindless but relaxing entertainment where the public is not required to think and just watch. She should leave the intellectual deep topics to intelligent committed actors that can use their influence and voice to promote actual change..

The truth is, I do not tolerate family violence, much less the abuse of women. However, this is a story that only promotes infidelity because she sought everything. That is to say, she saw the man with whom she lost her virginity and she forgot that she had a relationship, she forgot about respect. She lived a double life, cheating on her partner, and yet she plays the victim when she was the one who caused and provoked everything. Respect must be mutual, but so that in the end it ends with the ex... No, well, anyway, 21st century feminism. Seriously, what a shameful movie, what a lack of values, ethics, everything. And I repeat, I know that mistreatment of women is wrong, but when she is the one who provoked and caused everything, playing with feelings and, above all, loyalty and honesty...

Justin Baldoni is seriously committed to raising awareness about domestic abuse and wanted him movie to have some semblance and sanity. Blake Lively bought in her husband and deadpool editor to butcher the director's vision and make a movie which Justin didn't want. We all say we must believe women and we must, here it is extremely evident who cares for the cause and who is doing it for business. Just wait for the sequel directed by blake and you will see it will be worse than the worst lifetime/hallmark movie ever made about domestic abuse.
